I cried my heart out, and I am so glad people are acknowledging this issue. Growing up, when you hear your parents, teachers, and friends calling you pagal, it was the hardest pill for me to swallow! I never wish upon anyone going through this. I have always known my body, and I knew that something was wrong with me; last year, I turned 30, and after begging every doctor, they diagnosed me with ADHD and Anxiety. I am still fighting to prove it! It hurts, and it is a struggle and has been this way since my childhood.

I am so glad that atleast you take an initiative to display all the teens' problems through your videos but after every video you show that the parents are understandable they would care for us but as a teenager I don't think this is true . there may be some parents who may accept their fault and their ignorance towards children but I think that there are atleast that 2% out of a 100 which are just like they don't care about they just want us to study study and only study and if we are getting less marks which are though of our own efforts they think that we didn't study anything (maybe I am feeling so exhausted and pressurized 'coz a 12th science student here) . Parents are not willing to understand us and I think every 12th and even 10th student may be suffering from this . Just don't know what and how to react to all these expectations from not only parents but also teachers now I just feel like leaving studies and just going anywhere and not returning back .....

ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER is a Neurodevelopmental disorder which is generally manifested in the yearly stages of development and not teens as projected in the video. The symptoms include inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity the child can't even sit for a moment and always runs around aimlessly. Children with this disorder can't carry on with their normal academic activities like their classmates but a fun and a interactive way is the key. 7:32 here the worst thing that i feel and probably everyone who is related to the field of psychology do is searching the problems of especially symptoms in the google and randomly guessing disorders it's not how it works. For ADHD its present in the child from birth and can't be suddenly developed later in life. The child with ADHD can't even pass lower grades if they are thaught in a lecture method which is not effective for them.
@ContentkaKeeda10 ай бұрын
Please go through the video again. It is mentioned that people are born with it. But that does not mean it can’t be diagnosed in later age of life. Adult ADHD has been recently researched in the mental health spectrum. The video is made with the research and consultation with the biggest psychologist and psychiatrist of Mumbai.

@@ContentkaKeeda sorry for the miscommunication, I just gave a generalized perception about the disorder and nothing else btw excellent video
@tuttyfruitymku10 ай бұрын
@@turni-dipanjanroychoudhuri9157also another mis-conception that you have quoted is that the hyperactivity is manifested as 'running around' or 'not sitting'. We know now this is not true, specially in girls. The hyperactivity can manifest itself as fidgeting, playing with some object etc. Also, there is a spectrum of ADHD. Many people with ADHD can pass with good grades even in a normal school. They just struggle internally much much more than the 'normal' kids (again more true for girls). That is why many cases get diagnosed in adulthood (even though it is present from birth) In your post you are trying to portray people with ADHD as some idiots. They are not. They are usually much more sensitive, kind, empathetic and usually highly intelligent. The key is to manage their symptoms of in-attention and disorganization. You are telling this channel to stop spreading misinformation. I think your post has more disinformation and doing a disservice to the people with ADHD.
@indianfeminism10 ай бұрын
@@turni-dipanjanroychoudhuri9157Randomly searching symptoms and guessing disorder is indeed not a good idea. But as there is no awareness in school and educational institutes I think at least it's better that at least people get aware by Internet. And also guessing disorder is bad but they know yes there is some problem and they decide to go professionals for help. Even if there he/she doesn't have disorder as guessing but had any another condition or disorder. I feel, first step towards should be at least taking help no matter from which way you get encouraged to take it.
@Anonymous5496510 ай бұрын
Neither is this video accurate nor your comment. Adhd children may be bad at academics but it doesn't necessarily mean they fail. Children with adhd can sit in one place when they learn to mask or if they're made to sit in one place. They don't run around aimlessly, they're not crazy.

In USA - I have gone through a research done on several Universities where more than 80% of the youth are suffering from some sort of mental issues which they also don’t know what is that … Good that this video is creating some awareness in today s teenagers

This is sooo true… I have ADHD… yet my parents always tell me “ yeh sab bss modern chochle hai… exercise kro sab thik ho jayga” they just brush it off… wherein I went to a counsellor myself who diagnosed me with ADHD and Anxiety Disorder. Still my parents ignore it.
@DefinitelyPiyush73 ай бұрын
Hi , they just want you to ignore it consciously so that you live your life normally , not taking pressure of ADHD , They want you to be mentally free , they know it creates problems but for you they act like its nothing serious.

agreed, it takes a lot of assessments and history takings to diagnose someone with ADHD. its a sensitive,., of course spreading awareness is very imp BUT SPREADING THE RIGHT INFORMATION IS MORE..we cant just go and say I THINK I HAVE ADHD. please seek professional help and please do not diagnose yourself like this @@MoumitaDebnath-sd2em

Can relate to this (mainly to the "drama" part, this is kinda what TV serials do to Indian mothers, it makes them think that children are fabricating being "mad/crazy" to skip exams or to not face real life hurdles). Also the quote unquote councellor/mentors in school need to understand that there's a huge difference between telling someone that "there's nothing wrong with you, don't let people call you crazy & stuff and make you broken down. We'll get through this & fight this together" and saying "there's nothing wrong with you. You're a typical dramabaaz illness fabricator like most gen z kids. Take a chill pill, cope up & get over it. Stop being a crybaby and learn to be tolerant. Be a normal boy & don't cry like a sissy".

I think you should make a video on How boys are struggling in this generation. They can't express something to anyone.. They Can't even talk to their parents about their problems but always keep smiling.. I think any parent, Friend ,Relatives should be known for how much importance the boy should get.. In this generation gender equality is just a joke... I think we should teach everyone that Boys and girls are both human beings and we should give the same importance to Both of them 😢 All The Boys will be very thankful if you make a video on it ❤ @contentkakeeda
