I'm interested in resources that show evidence of dietary changes, particularly gluten. The peer reviewed literature does not support it and the few studies have high drop out rates because highly restricted diets are have negative effects on mental health. The proportion of subjects who report benefits is barely higher that the baseline placebo rate. I've looked at SLU CARE diet and it's very reasonable and not restrictive but additive which I really appreciate. I find it just adds to my trauma to be told I could just get better by maintaining a highly restrictive diet that even further isolate me from "normal" people and socialization. Managing life is hard enough without having to manage dietary constrains multiple times a day.

Adhesions have been in my life for 35 years since a hysterectomy at a young age due to severe endometriosis. Have learnt to live with it and recently trying various deep massage methods to see if can eradicate some of the pain.. yes some doctors do think the pain is imaginary and seem to show lack of knowledge

Can post operative adhesions cause labour type pains and chronic pain deeper in the pelvis? Cul de sac area. I did some heavy lifting and bending last night and am bed ridden again. Haven't had any surgery since my final surgery for a total hysterectomy for adenomyosis. I was stage 4 endometriosis 1995. I had previous adhesions at each 3 surgeries. I've been disabled with chronic pelvic pain since 1st lap for endometriosis, 25 yrs ago. Should I have surgery for a look see as my pain is still chronic and terribly debilitating? So what about adhesions from ablations that cause severe pain. Plus hermatoma in my uterus. What can i take to prevent it from coming back

I wish people without insurance could get endo and fertility care. Every specialist seems to be cash only (only $20k for surgery, $500 for an appt) with a porsche out in front, like a certain endo doctor in Los Gatos.

Not every specialist is 20K upfront and many specialists participate with insurance as out of network providers. Please do not make the mistake that drs want only to bilk you out of your money for a new car and a beach house. There is a crisis in endometriosis care in that the insurance reimbursement does not adequately reflect the skill and time it takes to perform excision of the disease plus the education behind learning it. It is the inadequate standard of care that forces doctors to be out of network, not greed. Please do not sully our channel with such accusations. 😥please someone help me. I'm in so much pain still at the age of 42 I had a partial hysterectomy leaving one overy at 21 due to severe endometriosis. My overy + hemorrhagic cyst and small intestine is adhered to my pelvic floor. Last year a second surgeon backed out of the surgery once he was in there due to the fact that there was no visual of major organs.

I am suffering adhesions pain 20 years . I had laparoscopy 2017 then I had good life last 5 years . Nowadays 24 hours pain going on my left cervix hurts with left leg pain . Please god save my life😢😢😢😢,,,

I find out Ihad endometriosis about 25 years ago, I " treated " without operation, 15 years ago,I got pregnant, and when I was 8 months pregnant I couldn't even walk, because my pain, thank god, he born 1 month early and perfect, even know was normal birthday, I couldn't walk or do anything for 3 months, so the doctor decided give me some strong painkillers, since then I have to much pain, some doctors said was endometriosis, some doctors said was in my head, after 15 years they find out was adhesions, was very bad, 1 year after I have the operation I still dieing with pain, and the doctors saying is on my head. 😡

It causes pain because the endometriosis is foreign to the abdomen This is what happens when there is a flare up for some women . The body tries to fight it causing swelling and cramping
