AdhesiveTabs for Press-On Nails.

Use adhesive nail tabs with Kiss, Broadway, Nailene and other brands that usually require Nail Glue. I love Impress Press On Nails so much, that I searched out other No-glue nails. Kiss Gel Fantasy ready to wear nails come with Mega-adhesive tabs that are easy to use and work well! I still love my pre-glued Impress Press-On Manicure but the Kiss brand and my Amazon brand tabs both come close to working as well. I like that the tabs don't last long because I work in healthcare and we can't have nails or nail polish not even clear. So these tabs are good for the weekend or special occasions and easy to take off for work.

This is SO nostalgic! I grew up in the 90s where kid nails had these glue tabs. I've always favored them over the longer holding glue despite changing press ons more often. Now that I've found the correct term4 this glue type that they have even4 adults now, I'm VERY obsessed!!! *BTW, ur video's highly elaborate & fun. Ty 4sharing this! :)

@@anotherdeadgirl.mp3 This is probably late but for the future: I'm not much of a nail-technican but if your nails hurt after you adhere a fake one i suppose either you are allergic to the adhesive and should remove it asap or your fake nail-tip is does not match the form of your nail (maybe too flat?) and is pulling your natural nail up or applying pressure. Either way you gotta remove those, it's not supposed to hurt.

I love how you just threw the glue aside, that's so exactly how I feel. I really want to try the Kiss nails with their acrylic designs, but they only come with that horrible glue. I always have to take my polish off for work and those tabs are a life saver. To know, that their tabs and the ones from Amazon compare at least a bit to the ImPress ones is really good to know thanks! I also wondered how they look if I trim them to your lengh, glad to know it looks quite natural and nice.

I’m addicted to the imPRESS nails as well. I just discovered a ton of press on nails and toenails at Etsy. that are unbelievably gorgeous!! They come with your choice of either glue or adhesive tabs. I hate glue anywhere near my nails as well.

My kiss nails last 2 weeks with adhesive tabs and kiss brush on nail glue. Try that way for longer wear.

nailene and sensationail are the same company, the older nailene pre-designed sets has similar sizing to the kiss ones. the sensationail sets require smaller nail plates. my friend gave me hers, and i have to have my nails really short to wear them since i lave longer nail beds. i recommend sensatonail to people with small nails. they even offer petite sizing.

I, too, just discovered the ease and fun of press-on nails with adhesive pads. I’m wearing some by Dashing Diva and so far they’ve stayed on for 5 days and are still holding strong. I do not want to use glue because I’m afraid of it being toxic and penetrating the nail (and getting into my system) since it’s liquid. So the adhesive pad idea seems like it might be less toxic. I’m interested in trying the brands you mention in your vid. Like you, I have always been reluctant to use fake nails until I saw some on a friend. I like that the press on nails create a barrier between the real nail and any nail polish that’s added (assuming a person wanted to paint their press on nails, that is). I try to avoid toxins where I can, while still having fun with nails.

The Kiss adhesive tabs coordinate with the nail size. I find the Sensationail pre glued don't stick as well as Impress.

I agree. I find that the SensatioNail pre-glued nails start coming loose in just 2 or 3 days. I forgot to mention that about the Kiss tabs, I like that the tabs are sized to fit each nail size. I also forgot to stress the importance of roughing up the surface of your natural nail and wiping with rubbing alcohol before applying the adhesive tab. Thanks for the comment, Karen!

This may be a silly question, coming from a first time user of the kiss gel fantasy collection but, what sticker do you use if the nails you choose are all over number 9? I’m assuming you trim the tabs down to fit but it’s odd that 10-13 adhesive tabs aren’t included.

The very first impress set I tried lasted almost 2 weeks but every other set I tried, the nails felt loose and half would pop off after a couple of days. Now I don't buy any nails with the glue already on. I have these tabs so I'll try them.

Use the glue tabs with nail glue. A brush on nail glue will give you a nice thing layer. It won’t ruin your nail beds. AliExpress might have different glue tabs that could be better too

Great Vid. I'm a guitarist and pick with my fingers (nails) so I'm looking for alternatives to my on nails. Which adhesive stickers would you say hold the best? you can soak nails in warm water to preserve the false nail. acetone works to just get stuff off the nail, it can be painful w/o soaking in either; you can try non-acetone remover too. sometimes they can be difficult to remove, especially if they came with adhesive already attached. there's several variables in application and removal that affect adhesion and the condition of natural nail plate and false nail.
