Why over exaggerating things? 3050 and 1650 d6 can run mostly games with 60+ fps 1080p mid-high settings and some good optimised games with high-ultra settings 60+ fps, badly optimised games struggles even in 3060ti, for 1080p gaming 3050-1650 will be good until 2026 end they literally playing gow 2018,sm remastered,2k24,rdr2 60fps at high+ultra settings and mid-low mixture 45-50fps for new games like god of tsushima

Better buy rtx 3060 12 gb. If you don't have enough money, buy rtx 2060 super or 2060 or rx 6600. Only buy rtx 3050 8gb if you don't have any other options. Don't even consider buying rtx 3050 6 gb because without power connector card is just way too much underpowered. It is a cut down variant of rtx 3050 8 gb. But remember one thing 6 gb vram is just the borderline for today's minimum standards. You can get by 6 gb vram, but In most games you will be vram bottlenecked and then the game will become unplayable. If you are like me and think playing at 720p or 768p will lower your vram usage by a good amount. Then the answer is no, it will lower your usage that is true , but it range from 300mb to 500mb vram if you are lucky. If you are way too lucky then then 700 mb. But most likely you will not see so much vram free as the game will instantly use all the vram you have freed. Don't worry as long as you have no stuttering, then you have some vram free so that other background processes can run.
