** Update ** - Proaim is designing a new wheel assembly for the Victor Lite that will resolve the issue we showed. They are also willing to send the updated wheels to any existing Victor lite Cart owner. Reach out to them via IG. - Adicam carts do NOT include the bag however if you purchase through their website, you can save 50% off the carrying bag using the code “JPM” at checkout! This is not an affiliate link and I receive no incentive. - Adicam offers a 10inch wheel size as well as 70+ accessories. It is a direct competitor to Innovativ Apollo series - Innovativ carts do NOT include the accessories I had and mentioned in the video above - Proaim Victor Lite is NOT recommended however we have yet to see or use the Victor Pro. - Proaim Victor Lite actually costs $1232.00. - Adicam cart used in this video actually had 9” wheels and NOT 8”

Solid video dude, but one area I think you should have touched on is the assembly and disassembly of each cart. I know you mentioned you're a fan of the Yeager cart that bolts the handle and wheels but the reality is that most people buying these carts are traveling with them and that's why these carts have to have parts with easy assembly that just bolt on. This is where I feel Inovativ really is far superior than all the other carts and it's not even close. I have friends who have these carts and transport them in small cars because everything breaks down so perfect because they've methodically engineered all their parts to fit inside the cart and easily assemble and breakdown fast. There's a reason why you see them in so many Hollywood sets and large productions and also why they cost what they do because they're the best. Don't get me wrong, the Yeager cart (which I've also used) is solid but it's not intuitive, doesn't' have the ecosystem that Inovativ carts do and also is much heavier than probably every single cart you showed. I think the cart that surprised me the most was the Smallrig one, I feel it has potential if they offer bigger tires and work out some kinks. Like you mentioned if they keep it closer to $1,000 they'll sell like hot cakes. Sure it's on the smaller side, but seems like a great starter cart for many. I'm in the process of getting a cart myself and this video definitely helped solidify that Inovativ is the way to go.

@@mondobytes yooo let’s go!!! Heck yea man I totally agree. Yaeger is a solid built cart. At the end of the video, my recommendation I kinda say what you said. If you need a well built, all the groceries kinda cart and you have a production van, yaeger all day. If you need modularity or travel/car compatibility I’d go Adicam, innovativ (or smallrig when it comes pending price). Thanks so much for watching 😍❤️ can’t wait to catch up with you next time I’m in LA.

I went with the YaegerPro 40" years ago because of its history and reputation in the industry. All the ACs I've worked with were recommending it. I picked mine up from the owner himself because I was coming from out of town and wouldn't be able to reach them during normal operating hours. That's how awesome Marty is. They are always coming up with new attachments and accessories and getting user feedback. The 40" can fit in the trunk of a sedan. Some accessories I'd recommend for the YaegerPro is the removable wheels for transport, middle shelf, and floating shelf. They have so many other useful attachments it just depends on what you want out of it, which is one of the main selling points of the cart = it can grow with you.

Hey, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are working on improving the locking mechanism and will send you the new version as soon as we can for you to test it out. "To any current customer of Victor Lite, please reach out to us, and we will send a new version of the Locking mechanism and the wheels complete Free of Cost to get rid of any issues you might be facing". We have been manufacturing our own caster wheels in house hence they felt smoother than Inovativ and high up there with your top recommendation. We do believe that the frame integrity will never be compromised at the recommended weight limits. We can be confident because we check each individual cart with max weight for a couple of hours at least, before we finally pack it for dispatch. Look forward to working with you again. Thank you.

There are not too many hills I'd die on, but.....Inovativ carts are the best. Period. Done. I've literally taken that cart to hell and back. In one instance, I had a full production package on my cart and rolled this cart up and down minor hills for a shoot that was 2 miles away (and yes I came back those same 2 long miles). People won't even believe the non-sense and torture my Voyager 42 has been through. It is a tank that shrinks into a Ferrari. My latest "oh wow" moment came in a few weeks ago when I booked a trip through Jetblue. Because I have "media pricing," I took my ENTIRE Inovativ cart across the country for only $50.... It closes into dimensions that are right under most airline's weight and oversize limits. I believe the genius minds designed it this way. On top of that, once I got to the arriving airport, I assembled the cart and loaded all my luggage on it. It's a thing of beauty. I don't know what's smoother, my grandma's homemade warm butter spreading on toast or my Inovativ cart...

I think one thing to consider is how much one is planning on loading onto one of these carts. Many of us have been in the position where we need this ONE thing to do a lot for us, but something to keep in mind, from my understanding... these are typically CAMERA carts. They are not Grip and Electric. While you can carry some of those things on these carts its not meant to load up everything. Grip trucks would be loading up dedicated carts for equipment and Mag-Liners. So the handles on the Inovativ for instance. That cart shouldn't be loaded up to such a capacity that there is risk of the handles breaking. I don't know what they are rated for BUT i'm sure there is a recommended weight for all these carts. But I don't think it wouuld hurt for Inovativ to implement handles that are MEANT for lifting assistance. And while bolted wheels are nice as well. Many NEED it to break down. If you don't have a good sized vehicle that allows for wheels to be sticking out or a van where the cart can just be built out, they need to be able to fit in the cart for breaking down. BUT like you mentioned it would be as simple as providing a locking pin which is all it would need. But I've known most camera people to have Inovativ and non of them have had their wheels come off in any circumstance. Great review!

I mean it feels like a pretty biased review to me. I own the Proaim Victor Lite in size 42, I haven't had any issues with my wheels in the past 1 year of regular use, somtimes at close to the max recommended weight capacity. And honestly with the kind of weight I’m using the Victor at, it smooths like a God damn Rimowa Suitcase, which I don’t see the case to be with ADICAM, “Your Recommendation”. And I have never felt unsafe in a year of use with the thickness of the Sheet used in my cart at fully loaded, around 180-190kgs on there. I’ve been hauling serious things on it and it has been a dream. Better than some bigger brands I would say. 1. The Proaim Cart price you mentioned is not even close. Their cart costs $1200 inclusive of shipping, while all other carts are at least 2 times that price when you add actual all inclusive price. 2. Adicam Carts looked like the worst possible cart when it came to actually rolling the damn thing (WHICH IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CART), and couldn't outdo a cart that is half its price in that regard. 3. You do not like the wall thickness of Proaim, but they have reinforced corners (also visible in your video), and I don't think it'll break or anything (since those are the actual welding joints, that are reinforced, the only portion of the cart that can buckle under load has been reinforced ). IT just shows they had to toe a line between keeping the overall weight in check, while maintaining sturdiness. 4. It seems like, the moment you kicked that wheel off, you got biased against the Proaim Cart, you were offered something extra by Adicam to just bad mouth Proaim and recommend them at all costs. Because Adicam Cart apart from the Lip folding down feature didn't have one thing over the Proaim Cart and you decided to recommend them over the Proaim. Adicam costed double the price, couldn’t roll smoothly to save its life and you recommend that to your Subscribers over something that is half the price and rolls much much much better. SMH. 5. You saying in a comment that Proaim cart shouldn't be in the market is like saying, since a BMW has a few extra features, a Hyundai should not exist. Yes BMW will have some extra features, but people love their Hyundais as well, although a lot of people do try to bad mouth them. I think you do need to disclaim what else was offered to you by each company apart from just the Cart. Are you getting more or less affiliate from one brand compared to others, are you being offered something extra? Thank you.

In fact, the Yaeger cart doesn’t even have an affiliate link in my description and that’s the cart I recommend as the most sturdy and durable cart. The frame thickness on the proaim is trash because that is all the wheels have to mount too. It’s a thin piece of sheet metal. That’s what actually buckled on the Selens cart I owned that broke (as I said in the video). I don’t make biased videos dude. I finally found a behind the scene where you mention it for a few seconds 🤣🤳 My lights are usually more in the open closer to the "dance floor" since they are not that bright, would you still recommend to change to a base? Do you mostly stick yours behind the guest ? I usually have venues that are WIDE OPEN. And have to stick a light in front of a guest table , what weight base do you recommend?

Project Farm for creatives. Should have compared Victor Pro instead of the Victor Lite

They sent me the victor lite. It shouldn’t even be on the market lol

@@atakan1296 honestly. It’s crazy. I sent them the reel of ours that broke. Told them I was comparing it to the other carts too haha

🔥Great video Justin! So glad you did this huge lineup. I bought my Selens cart at NAB and the wheels haven't broken yet, but we're careful with the wheels - especially after seeing what happened to you. I've been thinking about removing the quick release and reinforcing/bolting the wheels on, and after watching this fantastic lineup that confirms it. With our new production van we don't need to disassemble the cart anymore 🎉

Oh that Victor lite isn’t going to do well against those others. Their big one is an almost perfect clone of the Inovativ. Watching!

@@ScottBalkum I’m shocked they sent the victor lite. It puts a bad taste in my mouth on the brand. The quality isn’t anywhere near the asking price lol.

Heh, yup. You saw everything I saw. That cart is not good. But their best cart is way better.

@@ScottBalkum It’s sad cause I bet majority of people want this one since it’s the “budget” option.

@@SimplestUsername hahaha bruh, I 👏 AM 👏. Soon as I see it, I have to try breaking it. Innovativ, Yaeger and smallrig are the best wheel assemblies in this lineup. Adicam has the quick connect pin which isn’t bad but….its a pin.
