The shoe is heavier than the Adios 8 and the Adios 7 but still it doesn't feel so heavy and it is more comfortable than the first version.

Great video Stelvio. Looks like the decision to increase the amount of LSPro in the midsole is proving to be a good one. Could be tempted to get these instead of the Velocity Nitro 3 when I get my next pair of daily trainers.

It's always interesting to see how each runner's taste in a shoe is different. I absolutely loved Version 1 of the SL. So much so that I bought another pair, precisely because they are firm, different from this horrible trend of soft shoes, comfortable, yes, but with terrible performance when it comes to stronger or medium/long training sessions. I almost can't believe it when I hear you say that the SL 1 model is very rigid! It honestly seems like a joke to me, whether for short training sessions up to 10km or medium training sessions up to 21km. From what I noticed, despite being a little less rigid (using your expression), the SL2 still doesn't seem to be as soft as you would like. This is good news for me! I suggest you NB shoes. I did the same as you regarding SL1. I retired all mine, including a Rebel and an Elite V3, which were unbearably soft. I'd rather use them to walk around a mall than waste my time and effort trying to run with them again. But as I wrote initially, there is no right or wrong here. Everyone has their own freedom and preferences when choosing.

Hi, yes defenitly, different runners different tastes. I always say to test the shoe if there is any possibility since it is a personal feeling. In regard the SL1 I was confident it would fit because I also like firm shoes and low to the ground. Maybe the shape or the rocker, I'm not sure, but unfortunately I was not able to run with the SL1, while I was running well with the RC4 or RC5 for instance. That was a pitty for me, I had quite good expectations. The SL2 looks better in this regard, fingers crossed!

I hope that with the arrival of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, the climate will become increasingly favorable and you will be able to carry out this and many other tests successfully. We here in the south of Brazil are experiencing the opposite situation with the arrival of winter and lots of wind.

@@josemaioral Thank you so much, climate changes everywhere. In the last two months here it was raining everyday, and the temperature is pretty low considering we are in June. It is like to have a winter season which lasts 10 months.... crazy! and not good for the people mood as well. But it is what it is 🤷‍♂

My SL1's where so hard i drilled about 35% of the heel away, leaving a soft heel that works fine . But the SL2 is perfect straight out ot the box for me 👍

Hi thank you so much for watching! It is less comfy than the B12 but I would definitely suggest this shoe. It is more versatile than the B12. I will upload soon a video comparison SL v2 VS B12, I hope it helps

The one I've been wating for ! Actually I hoped to see the final Adios 9 in some kind of comparison. I think both could ideally complement my rotation together with Adios Pro 3 (4..).

@@runningwithstelvio my original Adios Pro are few kms short of 1.300 ... Now completely worn out (rods in the forefoot are almost peeking out through the outsole..), but still enjoyable as a daily/recovery shoe. At 350, the outsole of Takumi Sen 8 looks like new ! Adidas' big selling point is a great performance/durability ratio !

I didn't like the sl because the midsole was quite firm, but it got better over time. I saw the adizero sl2 in black colour only in my country, and i like your white one. It is a good price for what i am really waiting for the adios9, though i can not see the torsion system in it.

Yes the same for me, I retired the first version even before 100miles because it was causing me an injury. This version seems to be better. A torsion system would be even better for the response, but there is not unfortunately. Thanks for watching!

Is this same like Boston 12 without the rods and lighter? How does this feels on easy kms? Is it cushioned enough? vs Novablast 4 vs NB 1080v13 ?

uh not really, the B12 is more comfortable. I would not suggest for easy running, maybe only for the lighter runners and for those who are used to run in firm shoes. Better than Novablast, definitly more responsive but lesss comfortable, don't know about the NB 1080v13 comparison

It feels softer than the normal lightstrike, it is hard to say if it is the LS2.0. Usually it is written though if it's 2.0, so I'm not sure now 🤷‍♂️

It is normal lightstirke as far as understood, because I haven’t found the label 2.0 written on the midsole and in the specs, and it feels also firm as the normal LightStrike

@@dontaskme1093 This is a faster,, firmer so less comfortable than the B12. So better for fast workouts
