Thanks for the review, if you ever play in dusty gyms even if you don’t, the night before, clean the bottom with water and soup let it dry after put WD-40. This will help you continue to have a grip regardless of the court condition, I do this every time I play. Most of my sneakers have a good grip, but I still use this method.

Broooo I been cleaning the bottom every now and then, taking all the dirt off and it does grip better! Never heard of the WD-40 method, sounding like magic, I gotta put your method to the test!

These work great for anyone with a guard or forward play style, someone closer to the ground. Some up in the air plays but not for constant high flying. If high flyer and getting bumped in air, I don't recommend since off balanced landings can be rough. IT CAN HANDLE IT if you have good balance, but I would say for an ankle injury you want like a Dame 8 EXTPLY shoe, it would be better, more comfy around the ankle and better landing protection.

It is, I highly recommend, just not for really heavy heavy players, everyone else it's super solid. Traction is great for outdoor too, if you get them enjoy!

@RabeiWagad I retested this for you this morning. Yes it can work but as long as you don't stop on the heel, the heel area does not grip that good in dusty surfaces. The front and sides do great, just wipe the bottom with your hand on dusty courts and you'll be good to go 👍👍

@RabeiWagad You do get some slipping with dust build up, so you would have to keep wiping the bottom of your shoes to feel confident. For dusty indoor courts you will have to be careful, especially if you play aggressively and are fast. If your play style is slower, catch and shoot, or in the low post then it's not going to affect you too much.

Nike renew elevate 3 or adidas bounce legends?

@Tonyshark01584 Just seeing this, they're both equally good and looks-wise, it's going to be what you like the best. Differences The Nike Renew Elevate 3 is going to have more material. The upper feels a tab more thicker and is more of a cloth like material, so it will be warmer. Also, you feel a little bit higher of the ground, because you have a bit more cushioning. But since it's a budget line, the landings will not be the softest but still gets the job done. The Adidas Bounce Legends upper has more of a shell coating, so it will be cooler to wear, great for that ventilated feel. Also, has less cushioning so you will be closer to the ground - thus it will be more responsive, can be quicker with your moves. Similarly, jumping is not going to be the best since it's a budget line, so make sure you do a couple gather steps after you land to break your force so your feet and knees take less of an impact. Overall The Renew Elevate 3 I would recommend for a heavier type of player or someone who loves to jump higher and do more acrobatic moves because has more material to support you. The Bounce Legends I would recommend to someone who loves the ground attack, or slimmer player who likes to play fast but under control but doesn't try to get all crazy in the air - you can still jump and do acrobatic dunks or layup but just make sure you are taking a couple extra steps when you land to break your fall like we talked about. They both have great style, slick looking 🔥, and perform good but are a bit different. Choose what you will like the best or fits your play style. It's pretty solid and well made. You're going to get your money's worth. It will wear down at regular pace, so nothing to worry about there. For indoors it will be great. For outdoors it will also do great, grips nicely. My only concern for outdoors is if the player toe drags heavy, then in that side area it can wear down faster. I do recommend I use it outdoors all the time, grips good. Still wipe the bottom of your shoe with your hand when you play, no matter what shoe or surface you play in, it just helps keep the grip pristine. The only thing about it is: it's not good for someone who toe drags heavy. That area can wear down faster since material is not too thick on the sides. But if you do not toe drag then its a very solid outdoor shoe. Hope this helps and sub if you can!

I would go with the Adidas Bounce Legends, because the bottom of the PG5 is not good for outdoors, wears down pretty fast. The Bounce Legends feels more sleek and minimalist to me than the PG5. That's all preference, if you like a thicker feeling shoe and the style of the PG5, it's also a good shoe. I just was more impressed with the Bounce Legends, it fit better, the ankle lockdown is perfect. Overall: both are good for indoors and will get the job done, but for outdoors go with the Bounce Legends.@@kevinesneiderchaconmartine6609

I am size 10 UK and bought it at 10 1/2.. not exactly tight but it is a bit hard on my foot as it still brannd new... no problen with the performance though, good protection 4 ankle sprains too

Would have replied sooner just been so busy, sorry about that Broskis! Here is the overall take: If you have good balance and have controlled landings, then you will be fine with this one. Just as long as you are not constantly landing awkwardly then this shoe can work very nicely for a high jumper like yourself and your specific weight. Has great ground feel in the front so you will feel fast on take offs but only draw back is: If you jump a lot the shoe can bottom out more faster, so can start to feel some firmer landings. Solution: If you can bend your knees when you land or take a couple gather steps after you land, that should help a lot to reduce harder landings. I feel this is something all high jumper should do regardless of the shoe, just to keep you more healthy and longevity in jumping and the sport. Great pickup for the price, I like them a lot, they look really good on feet too. Hopefully with this extra info you can see if they are going to work for you 👍👍

I agree, they usually do make them a little bigger but these fit so good, I went my regular sizing and they are fitted and sized just how I like them for basketball performance. Go your regular sizing!
