Even though I haven't owned a D Rose shoe since the D Rose 3, I've always pulled for the guy. Great talent and even when he was going through the injuries, he handled it with class and gave you everything he had when he stepped on court. Cool video, I like the look of these and try them out.

The breathable upper reminds me of the adizero crazylight d rose version he wore in the 2011 playoffs at the peak of his powers. I think it’s the lightest basketball shoe ever at 9.8 ounces. I have a pair and they are nice but a little snug for a wide footer.

I got a pair of these,after like 3 months they got a rip on the mid to upper sole and started getting pretty old around the upper sole,traction is bad on dusty courts but good on clean ones

I love D Rose!! Definitely happy to hear he has his own box again! I was wondering what they were doing with his line of shoes. This pair is decent I really like the heel counter and the traction. Hopefully they keep making his own boxes that will be good He definitely deserves that and I agree they should never do that sort of stuff to athletes.

there's also a bit of drose 7s in the shoe if you look at the upper and some of the colorways. It's an amalgamation of the rose 1.5, 4s and 7s

I'm a wide foot, usually 13.5 in all adidas basketball shoes and as beautiful as these are, it fit way too narrow for me. Got two pairs because they were on sale at adidas for $70 each and had to return them. Tried 14 and still too tight. Shame, they're so much nicer in person! Uptempo life for me.

The 3s and 4s were goated imo tbe 3s were probably the basketball shoes I had that lasted the longest playing only outdoors. Played in them nearly daily at the park for nearly 3 years before the tread started to fade.

Hopefully the durability is there, because that was the main issue Adidas had in the early stages of the Rose models. Overall I’m a fan of the silhouette, it looks like it’ll be a beast on court, durability is my only concern.

Aye! You got some. These look pretty great. By the looks of the shoe, you're not wrong on what you're seeing. I see The Rose 4 in the outsole or the crazy quick like you said. The heel cup on these looks like what they have on the Don Issue 3 IMO due to the angle of the Three stripes. However, if we are looking at a Rose model, it can be taken as a call back to the Rose 2's. The toe box is straight from the Rose 1.5, and the side panels remind me of the Rose 1.5 but also the Rose 3. Also, the tongue is like the Rose 3 with the D-Rose logo being as big as it is. So happy to see him with a box again! That's just my thought. However, I do see what Mrs. Wing is saying with the Dame 3, silhouette-wise. Once I get a pair in my hands though, I'll look at them more lol. Great review as always.

Good review guys, I remember the first ever basketball shoes I bought were the d rose 773’s all them years ago. I wasn’t a huge fan of their comfort but these kinda remind me of them since they are also a spin off from the d rose line.
