Adidas DYED my sneakers?! || Adidas Human Race Holi NMD Chalk Coral by Pharrell Williams Review

After the much success of the last release 2 weeks ago of the Blank Canvas Holi collection, the day has finally come for Adidas and Pharrell Williams to drop the rest of the Hindu Festival Holi pack. Labelled as the Powder Dye capsule, 3 Human Race Holi NMD dropped that included the Black and Purple, Pink Glow, and Chalk Coral that I have here today for a review. I was able to get through the Adidas Confirmed App here in Canada, and although it wasn’t my favourite colourway of these 3 sneakers, this Chalk Coral is my second favourite so let’s jump right in and take a closer look at these sneakers.

I was completely unsure about which pair to get, until the last minute, when I was lucky to cop the Black/Purple pair. However, I still think this particular pair with green laces is the best looking out of the 3 that dropped on Friday. I scored on these but on a 9.5. Up from my tts of 9. It’s a good thing tho because I probably wouldn’t have been able to even wear my tts. My foot completely fills the shoe width wise because of my wide feet but at the same time about a thumb of space is left between my toes and the front of the shoe. Also something I don’t hear talked about a lot is the collar. I had to kinda force my foot in because the collar doesn’t have much give unlike a regular primeknit collar. That can mean trouble for people with really wide feet like myself. If you know you have freakishly wide feet I’d suggest sizing UP half a size

Managed to cop a pair directly from Adidas. I'm UK 8, wide footed and these fit TTS. Slight heel slippage but this was fixed by lacing the shoes higher up my foot. Still had room to fit in UB insoles if I want to.

it won't be drastically different apparently. I've seen some different pairs with more purple and less green and vice versa but people told me they were alike so I'm not so sure anymore.
