Absolutely correct, there’s a huge huge back catalogue of adidas , it’s rarely touched on, always the same answer , tooling , we’ll make new tooling , produce a series of shoes that are of good quality and different, the Research , development, advertising will be repaid ten fold more , this a million colours of the same model , it’s not cool , collectable , that’s why 75% end up on the sales rack

The quality of modern city series is shocking if compared to these older shoes. I have 03/04 Malmo and they are simple not the same shoe, they are solid , comfy , hard wearing and feel the part. It’s such a sub standard product now. The last I bought was the City release and I sent them back, just feel so poor in hand

Totally agree. I actually have the most recent Malmos in the OG colourway and they’re barely worn and yet the sole unit has torn apart from one of the shoes. Garbage quality and it’s almost criminal that size are using 05 malmos to flog their current garbage. Not the same shoe even remotely.
