Adidas Superstar Boost Review and On Feet

Was able to buy these at my local Footlocker and truth be told, this model came out of no where for me. I only recall seeing the Adidas Stan Smith’s with boost online a few months back but not on these Adidas Superstars. There was only 50 pairs online at Adidas Canada and sold out within seconds. But for my purchase at Footlocker, it was hassle free. Adidas’ boost technology Is some of the most comfortable cushioning material available in the market right now, so how does it fend off by adding it into one of Adidas’ most iconic shoe? Let’s find out, cause here’s my review of the Adidas Superstar Boost.

Got this for around $50 at an outlet. Where I'm from, normal Superstars are around 70-80 bucks. So while the aesthetic difference may not be that much, it is a little more comfy, while being both lighter and made of far superior materials to the normal Superstars. I'm happy with my pickup

i ordered those for half a price at the outlet too - will get them for around 65EUR while originally they cost 140. Look-wise i don't like that white thingy on the inside of the shoes too much, but regular superstars are 100EUR + here so i think i'll bare. Material-wise they look really premium, i hope i can live with that visual additions lol

Finally quality sneakers reviews that talks about most essential things in comprehensive way that we depend on when buying shoes - materials (softness, if they stretch, how they are made, etc.), fitting (especially for wide feet) and cushioning. Keep it up, I'm subscribing from today :) Peace from Poland btw though with great touch of details, they really sucked at implementing that boost block in the midsole area. They did one model great lately - Iniki's are great connection between 70's nylon running shoes feel and boost technology underneath.

A day after watching your review, i received my sns x social status superstar boost and i gotta agree, the boost is extremely muted like NMDs. However , it does alleviate pressure on the soles after standing for long hours. Love your reviews, they are honest and not made just to hype up releases. Cheers

I own 3 basketball shoes with Boost namely Drose6, Crazy Explosive, and Crazylight Boost 2016. Personally I get why you can't feel that plushy, cloud on your feet feelings, just like the NMDs, UltraBoost and the likes. The only room for the boost to expand is on the medial side and the bottom, heel/outsole. The impact protection is definitely there, but just allow much comfort on the arch and heel area. I'd definitely try to rock these on court as this 'compacted boost definitely enhance the court-feels. But for those who wears them casually, I think Adidas did a great job retaining the nostalgic feels on this releases, but still offer their best cushion.

Yea, unless you like the upgraded material of the softer leather on these Superstars, the boost in my opinion doesn't even seem it was there.

detailsmovement comfort is what I would expect. You can't go wrong with primeknit and bounce cushioning (at least on my alphabounce) was not a letdown. Might not be a bad purchase IMO.

Yeah, you're right. The stiff outer sole needs to deform with the boost inner sole (together, in near same amount); it's much more difficult to deform the stiff outsole than the inner sole, therefore the boost doesn't deform a lot, storing the energy input by the foot.

This is weird Ive got mine thru adi store ol and it only has 6 lace holes on both pair And ive tried to return it and even went to adi local store and still has the same thing So I ended up buying it Few months later I notice somrthing off about the golden treefoil logo on the tongue of the shoe its starts to peel off and sticking up to my laces is this normal? These shoes have a different design such as a thinner tongue, premium leather and leather on the inside. You should know this if you had a pair of superstars, or even googled a picture of one. This leads me to think you dont have normal superstars, so how can you judge if they are more comfortable than normal ones?

The upper materials on this pair vs a normal pair of superstars are different. Much more premium leather upper and the heel lining in these are a leather, whereas the standard superstar is a cheaper mesh nylon material.

They should have gone without the cupped rubber outsole. Encasing the boost material with rubber doesn't allow the boost to expand as it's being compressed. Should've went full boost like the Stan smith boosts but with just rubber track pads underneath. Almost there Adidas.
