Going to try this soon! Paint is in the mail. Thank you for the tutorial and the links to the products. Ultra Boost shoes have been my go to for a few years for work, casual wear and exercise. Just wish Adidas would make more color ways with black boost. This customization is one of my favs that you’ve posted. I really liked the white Stella McCartney swapped with Nite Jogger tongue too....that was awesome!

I had one little scare but it was because I have never done this and it was my not understanding and Hes answered my questions and all worked out great. He definitely knows what he's doing

Quick question. I purchased the oil sharpie and I’m a little disappointed at the purple color I’ve got. I just purchased all four of these products in the video. Would you recommend any additional steps since the sharpie is already on? Like perhaps rubbing it off with some acetone before the 4 steps? Thanks for all you do Hes!!

yeah I would use the acetone or deglazer first, prep it well, then use the dye, let it dry, then use the paint with a couple coats, then let it dry and use the matte finish, let it dry and do another final coat. wearing mine today!

They look amazing. My vote is with the black laces. Quick ques though, is there a reason why you use 2 coats of jet black then 1 coat of flat black? Why not use 3 coats of flat black?

I'm doing 2 pairs right now. It will finish shinier than the factory black from adidas. I don't care at all but if you mind, I believe you can add duller to the matte finisher. Cant wait to rock my UBs. They've been sitting since they started yellowing and they look so much better now. Hope this lasts.

I honestly liked it better with the white boost , with the Black Boost i definitely prefer the Black laces...definitely does give it a cleaner look. Dope Custom and if only you wore a sz13 mens...i could definitely help you trim that shoe collection down under 100 pairs.

nice! I wouldnt paint the white part on the sole, personally that part can scratch off too easy, the other thing is make sure you prep the shoe well! or the paint doesnt stick as long. but the method works good, worn mine a ton no wear

The blacked out sides do look really good with this particular colour-way, But hopefully Adidas see this and perhaps make these "Ultra Boosts" just like this as personally I couldn't be bothered doing this or trying to do this & risk stuffing up a somewhat expensive pair of kicks.....But I'd still get them with the white sides think they still look good.... Nice work though!!
