I’ve been a Nike man since 1990, I have not worn adidas since the 80’s I just got a pair of ultraboost 21 and I love them, I’ll always have ultraboost in my sneaker rotation now.

Same but I also go to others as I like the performance side as well. His is more street wear, which is nice, as I can have a performance shoe that's also very nice to wear just out and about. Don't even know how I found his channel as I'm more into performance than casual wear. With that said, I watch just about all his videos, even if I'm not interested in the shoes. This one, I'm actually interested in both but leaning more towards the Adidas Ultraboost 21.

Scooped a pair of Infinity React 2's from a Nike Outlet a couple of wks ago. After all discounts, I paid about $38 for them. My first non-Jordan, non-retro Nike in many yrs and it's amazing how far comfort has come in a couple of decades. It feels so bouncy and responsive.

They were marked down to $90 but they were on the outside border wall so it was 30% off of that plus my bday discount, military discount and a 15% off in-store coupon as well. Ultraboosts are so heavy now that I wouldn't run in them. So many better options at a lighter weight for every sort of run. Not to mention that they add more boost to the rear (half of it being useless on the side), yet little to the forefoot, which was always lacking. Still a fab lifestyle shoe.

I’ve had both for many years now, and the epic react is the winner for me. The boost falls apart after a while. Takes my damaged. Yellows badly. When on the other hand. the react maintains the same minus some creases. I did go a full size up on the react to be comfortable. Could of gone half a size up 🤯

I have both boost and react , UB fits better however they are heavier and the sole get yellow and bottom up faster. Nike cushioning are way softer and the shoes are lighter and last longer however Nike ,as usual, are tight AF.

From performance perspective, I tried to like boost, but always failed. Tried OG boost, UB 19, 20, ended up putting them back in the closet, none of them reach 50 miles. Heavy and the cushion is so-so. Not my favorite but I think React is much better than boost. My favorite are Skechers Hyper Burst and the good old thick eva midsole, like Hoka’s. Not sure about UB21, but don’t feel like spending that kind of my money for my closet decoration.

I've got both. I use the Nike's for actual running and the ultraboost 21s for being on my feet all day at work. Really enjoying the stability of the Adidas and natural feel of walking. The Nike's are made for running and walking feels a bit weird due to its hoka style rocker shape. It really helps you run though.

Great comment man this alone made me make my decision. My only concern with the UB21 is twisting or injuring my bad ankles since the midsole is so high, not looking to run in them just walk & standing so should I be worried? Hes did mention they have great stability & I guess they are not super squishy? That also can be bad for my ankles if they don't have enough support

@@Man_eee they don't have any actual ankle support obviously but it's a really stable shoe and not squishy at all really. They look much more like that than they are on foot as the ultraboost comes much further up the sides than under your actual heel if that makes sense. For being on your feet a lot and doing lots of walking they're perfect. Maybe go at least half size up if you've wide feet or like plenty room at the toe box.

Infinity Run 1 was my choice over the Ultraboost 20. I make pizza and pasta for a living. I also deliver and happen to be diabetic. The Ultraboost 20 felt stiff and hurt after a while. I gave both shoes a break in period. I want to like the Ultraboost,but Adidas always felt tight to me. Coincidentally, I play soccer in Adidas. Hopefully the next versions changed a bit.

adidas boost series use much sturdy material, having both adidas ultraboost st and nike pegasus react xtrail, you will scared to use nike rough it may tear off, whereas adidas ultraboost doest have any weak spot to get teared off accidently

most likely. the 21s, 20s, and 19s were all meant to be a proper running shoe instead of a lifestyle shoe like the previous ultraboosts or what is now the DNA. it makes no sense to keep producing older models that aren’t as advanced as the newer ones.

@@kyogrez5453 Still have the DNA CC_1s, which are the very lightweight upper 19/20 silhouette. The classic ultraboost was supposed to be replaced by the 19, but strong fanbase of the classic and the lukewarm reception by them to the 19 led adidas to split the line, with the DNA classic being the lifestyle silhouette and the 19,20 etc year models becoming the true performance line, being upgraded yearly. But the 19/20 silhouette still has its fans and it seems the CC_1 was meant to keep them happy. I guess sales numbers, as always, will determine if it keeps being made...

owning both, I will say in the looks department I'll give it to my UB22, but comfort and functionality the NRI2 takes the cake... my steps feel a little more springy and I feel because it's lighter as well it feels more effortless than the UB22.. both great sneakers though and you can't go wrong by picking one over the other, if you want maximum cushion then Nike ZoomX Invincible would be your best bet, like no other shoe I've tried, almost a little too much for me which is why I went with the NRI2.

I'm gonna be honest - the detached tongue is a huge preference for me. The fact I can slip the shoes on and off means I'm gonna get more "miles" out of the shoe I prefer how the UB's look are really dig that they're using PrimeBlue, but I'm disappointed by the Boost (maybe it's because it doesn't feel like it looks), and I also found them a little uncomfortable across the top of the foot - like it doesn't have enough stretch/give for my foot, no matter how much I loosened the laces up. It was noticeable no matter how long I wore them, and ultimately was a no-go for me Will have to try the Infinity 2's - I like the direction they've gone since the 1's

Same here, flat feet and wear size 16 but the 2 that I would highly recommend is 1. ASICS Gel kayano 26 - the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and only cost me $100 - keep in mind that ASICS are extremely good for people with flat feet and people with feet problems in general. They contour around your foot, have extremely good arch support and the cushioning is PHENOMENAL!!! 2. Nike zoom pegasus 36/37 - they are also good shoes, alright arch support, very light, good cushioning and very very light. Got 2 for $120 and the first one is holding up extremely well after a lot of wearing, jumping, training etc. Honestly, asics are a little bit more on the expensive side but trust me, you won’t regret it. Adidas has a quality control problem. One shoe a size 10.5 is much too tight while another half size down has a thumbs width left in the toe. Different size shoes depending on model.
