They are pretty neat and I think they are executed very well. As far as Xs go I think these are the best Adidas has put out. In terms of fit and feel, not so much comfort wise. I still think the X 19.1 and 18.1 are more comfortable, but they lacked that "edge" other speedboots have. In my opinion the Crazyfast+ is better than Speedflow.1, a very popular model. I thought the fit and lockdown wasn't that great on the Speeflow.1, there was too much volume for my taste and not enough structure in the upper. Crazyfast+ does both things better in opinion. But $300 is a lot of money for such a minimalist design. However if you are entirely sold on the concept of having the lightest thinnest boot well then Crazyfast+ does that better than anything. It's an extreme boot for an extreme price. And there is a healthy amount of competition is the "speed boot" category. As it stands, I already own a pair. But probably wouldn't buy another, unless it has a nice discount to it.

Yeah I agree with a lot of what you're saying - I think this specific model more than anything is a showcase to how far they can push the boundaries. I'm sure most people will go for the tier below.

I haven't worn an adidas boot in yrs but I'm a fan of this one. My only concern is the durability given its thin upper. However, I prefer my boots to fit ultra-close so I usually go ½ size dwn to achieve this. Do you think going ½ down on this boot will prove problematic?....Gr8 content btw!

Thank you! There have been some reports from people saying the durability isn't top notch but not sure if these are people wearing on turf which kills boots. Easy to find these now at a significant discount though so worth the gamble in my opinion and I didn't spot anything bad in regard to quality. In regards to sizing, these fit me really snug so I would stick to your usual size but if you're accustomed to going down 1/2 size for keeping it tighter, I don't see an issue! Hope this helps 👊

If dont need any space up around toe box, should I have to get a half size down or is it actually true to size?

I would go actual true to size. I didn't have any room really as they fit very snug. A great fit for someone looking for a very tight feel 👌

at $300 that is a tough sell, especially with the Vapor 15 at $250 and multiple color ways already on sale

that's a great point! I personally prefer these over the Vapor 15 BUT not for an additional $50. It is great to see though that the highest tier in the X has laces as usually it'd be laceless. If these were at $250 would you still pick the Vapors?

@@soccerkicksofficial definitely, at 250 I could at least buy both on sale and decide which is better. the problem with a 300 retail price is that even on sale, it will always be significantly more expensive than the competition.

No they shouldn't! It's a very light upper but has strength to it 💪
