Jerry Lorenzo and Adidas recently released a new set of footwear in their Fear of God Athletics collection. Part of that collection included the LA Runner in "Clay", which I'm reviewing for my latest video. Tune into my detailed breakdown to see more, and to get a sense of how they are on feet!

I feel like Jerry took some design from adidas’ sleeper sneaker from 2018: The INIKI Runner - which became the I-5923 - sans BOOST midsole. Don’t you agree?

I got both pair so far. A nice pair of jeans with a merino wool v neck sweater and blazer brings them out nicely

There are so many classic remake like the Samba, Gazelle & Spezial, especially the beautiful ones from Wales Bonner, with much wider range of premium material choices, no wonder this one is sitting.

So true about the shape though. Lorenzo is always trying to pose off of the likes of Loro Piana and Creative Officine. His shoes are always narrow af like most Italian silhouettes and have that weird pointy almond toe shape that just doesn't jive with a natural foot.

I think the issue I have with the shoe is the colorway looks great, until you actually put them on. On feet I feel like it’s so mute and doesn’t match with the rest of my outfit.
