This hits home so much! I am from the exact same part of the country he's from. What he says about growing up with Assamese and Bengali culture is the uniqueness of the Goalpara region and the Goalpariya people. Neelesh. My name is Madhavi . This episode about the multi colored giraffe reminded me of an incident as an educator. A child in my class drew a pink elephant . Our director walked in ,saw the pink elephant,and was aghast . She kept telling the child ,the elephant is grey , the child insisted that her elephant was pink . How does one ever get to educate these adults . This conversation is brilliant. Bravo !

Honestly, sir, all the slow interviews have been thoughtful and amazing till now but this one I can't even explain has been absolutely helpful, eye-opening, and amazing on a different level. One reason of course is because we haven't heard his conversations that much from the media earlier, so 1st time hearing him that too for almost 5 hours is very theaurapatic and I didn't even realize where the time went. 2ndly, the nuances, and the ease with which he narrates his life stories fall beautifully on the ears. Kudos to you for being so thorough and patient in this process and enjoying the conversation and not making it the interview-interview. How gentle and humble is Adil Hussain, wow. I always liked his acting, there was a lot of truth in it and his emotions are very easy to connect with on reel. Now I understand why his art created such an impact. What a lovely and deeply perceptive man!
