ADJ Stinger Spot vs Inno Pocket Spot - Differences + Master Slave Ideas

In this video, we look at the differences & similarities between these two fixtures, including brightness & movement. We also attempt a master slave & experiment with using both fixtures in a couple different configurations.

How do you turn off the Gobo shake mode. I am using master slave mode with the Inno Pocket spot as the master. The stinger randomly does hobo shake. I’m really thinking about taking one back to the store

Finally somebody mentioned these things. It looks like the Stingers react a little slower maybe do to the lower quality rotating Gear. I wonder if the stinger was the master would it have the same reactions and timing. Im really considering the stingers for my first moving heads.

Compared to other fixtures of mini lights this stinger spot is really quiet. i was supprised when i turned them on. they also start more quickly than the pocket spot.

Seems like the economy servos are a tad bit slower moving. Also the resolution may be a little different as in the fine position adjustability.

And if you want the same fixture for only $90 but with a "different name" you can search eBay for "moving head led" and scroll down. ADJ just rebrand products from China. I have both (stinger spot and mini led spot) and they are identical inside. Btw the servos are using ease-in/ease-out and that's why they "lags" a bit. I've had the mini led spot for over two years so... No they are not copies of the stinger spot :)

Look up on eBay or amazon U’king mini moving head the cheap ones are just like the stinger spot or they offer better lights

the inno pocket spot does have gobo shake i have a moving head that looks both like the inno pocket spot and the stinger spot

I have been excited about these since I first saw them months ago on the namm video. affordable moving heads. can you change the speed of the movement and how much do they weight?

Yeah, in DMX mode you can make them move at variable speeds. They weigh in at 7 lbs each

I have a pair of the inno pocket spots and I've never been happy with the "baby" blue color they give you. I didn't notice in the video, but doesn't the stinger spot have a more true blue?

To activate by sound is it necessary a very high sound for these, do you have any idea about minimal sound, is it possible from a cell phone music also

It's actually bass activated, so no a phone won't work
