Please I have question what is the difference between (talk back) and (talk down to)
@studywithcara1562
@studywithcara1562 4 жыл бұрын
Great question! Talk back: This is when somebody replies quite rudely (usually a student to a teacher or a child to their parent etc). For example: My daughter always talks back to me. Talk down to: When you talk to someone who you believe is not as clever or important as you. This might be something a child would complain about! For example "My parents always talk down to me as if I am stupid. I'm 16, I'm not a kid anymore." Hope this helps?

I'm pretty disappointed in not learning fast enough. When were they interested in politics? She gets angry at anyone who is cruel to her. Has he ever had any disappointment in his life? We're definitely upset about them. They'd better to get good scores in their exams unless they don't want to see their mother worried about them.

Why is he so bad at sports? I wasn't kind to my friend. My mother considers studying good for any person. Are you prepared for learning more? He was never that much attracted to his own work. Was he? You shan't be so angry at us when we show that we're adroit at our job.
