Adjustable Fit Sliding Patio Screen Door Installation

The door stuck every time I try to close it. It also shaves away my door frame. Something is off with this door.

The extra sheet of metal that folds over the top and bottom where the adjusters sit made it to wide for the door to slide freely for me. I only have about 5/8 and the screen door is a bit bigger than that. Had to return it. Was really liking the door till that happened.

@@martynbg98 No luck on finding a new one. I'm having to restore my old one. New screen and handle latch.

Having the same issues. The plastic guides are a joke. Spent an hour trying to adjust, no luck, taking door back.

One-size-fits-all adjustable patio screen doors are prone to a variety of issues in certain installations, some tracks to not allow for the expander used on the top or bottom due to size. If you have a door that does not need the additional expansion, these can be removed and used with the top guides.

Top wheels slide along the track fine. Bottom seems to be just too wide to really sit in the channel of the door frame and wheels don't spin freely. Just acts completely stuck. Sounds like others have the same issue. Anyone get this to work?

There are multiple ways this can be installed and it is what works best on your home. Please take a look at the print install instructions on step 3. These can be found on helpmeinstallit.com on the Adjustable fit patio page

This door you are referring to - Ultimate Meta Patio Screen Door with EZ Adjust system - has been discontinued. The Adjustable Fit Sliding Patio door is its replacement

The adjustment bar makes the door to thick to fit in and will make most of the door's mistfit due to this, dont buy!!!!

Trash. The adjustable expanders would not sit flush all the way, slighly widened the frame, and made the door unmoveable.
