I use a subsoiler on extremely hard ground in my garden. The soil is good, but the last implement used on this farm that I recently bought was pulled by a horse. Since the 40's only livestock have been on the pasture. Be certain to have plenty of weight added to the tractor. I use weights purchased at St Vincent de Paul on my BCS 853. I may used deep rooted radish (diacon radish) or turnip to restore the pasture.

Great new build. As you mentioned it, I was wondering if this would be effective as a subsoiler in land that compacts after rain.
