Adjusting button accordion springs

Hi Mike, thanks for this video - I was looking for something on adjusting treble buttons on an Irish accordion. Wondering if you might be able to help me - I have a Hohner Black Dot that makes a lot of button noise when releasing the buttons, the treble buttons aren't exactly aligned and I was half thinking of taking it apart to glue some felt to try and fix this issue on the point where the buttom arm connects with with board. I have a video of the issue on my channel, any advice would be much appreciated! Many thanks from Ireland.

Hi - sorry I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to accordion repair (I did the springs on mine only because I've managed to do concertina ones in the past!) The chap to ask is Theo Gibb at "The Box Place" - you can find it online - he's extremely knowledgable and was very helpful to me when I contacted him about an accordion issue. I listened to your vid - and the buttons are loud - sounds clearly like some felt padding or stops are missing - should be a relatively easy job I would think. Good luck with your box - cheers Mike.
