Great video explaining this. I'd just like to add that, it also helps to make sure that the tire pressures are even on both sides of the driver and the machine. If you have one tire that's low it will make the machine drift one direction or another. I keep a Milwaukee 12v air compressor in my trailer, you can set it to the exact psi you want. I always check & set those first before I mess with adjusting the front wheel. Here in Minnesota with the big temp swings it can be very noticeable.

Thanks for watching, yes I should have mentioned that too. People don't realize how much the tire pressure affects the machine

What psi do you run? Thanks for the added info.

Haha you sound so satisfied once you get it straight. It's the little things.

I cang find a solution like that for my 3400. Always going right at the end of each line... no adjustments on 3400? Help!

Hey, I’m interested in parking lot striping as a side hustle . I’m thinking about starting a parking lot striping business without sealcoating and other services. Would you recommend this? Is there enough work for just striping ?

Hey Ryan, all we do is striping. Takes a while to build up enough customers but it is possible. Start small and keep your quality high, the rest will fall into place.

What machine is this and are you happy with this machine or do you like another one better?
@linepainter3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, we only use Graco machines. The machine in the video is a Graco Linelazer 5 5900 double auto gun. I wouldn't use any other machine

@@linepainter thanks. I’m debating between the hs130 standard Or the 3900 standard or automatic Or 5900 standard or automatic. I’m new to the business is it’s hard deciding. But I don’t want to start on small equipment and regret the decision 6 months later so that’s why I’m debating between these models. Thanks. Any input is greatly appreciated. I know the 5900 has a bit more psi or what not but similar to 3900 in other ways. I hear good things about the hydraulic system on the hs 130

@@lifewithashleynoah9893 I depends on your business model. You really can't go too small because the "small" machine can be turned into a dedicated HC or blue machine. If you are using latex and cleaning all the time, it might matter. Larger machines take more "solvent" (water or whatever) to clean & change colors. When you get large enough and have many machines, you will likely end up with a mix of machine sizes that meet your needs. A lot of factors come into play when you are starting out and as you grow, some of those same factors become less important.
