Nowy Sącz, the heart of the Nowy Sącz region, has been a multicultural and multinational city for seven centuries. In Nowy Sącz, cultures creatively mixed peacefully: German, Austrian, Slovak, Czech, Hungarian, Jewish, Byzantine, Russian, Ukrainian and the indigenous ones - Polish and Lakh. Nowy Sącz is a town famous throughout Poland for innovations introduced in the renewable energy economy, one of the most modern and ecological places in the entire country, it is also one of the most interesting places for a holiday. Nowy Sącz is located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and has the status of a city with county rights. It is inhabited by over 80,000 inhabitants, which makes it the third largest city in the entire voivodeship in terms of both population and area. It has an extensive communication hub, which makes communication and transport from one place to another easier and convenient. The city is also the main tourist center of the Nowy Sącz region, eagerly visited by tourists at any time of the year.
