to be fair on him, elpers is a bad way to experience the game. ultimately he failed to understand that pokemon is a jrpg and grinding is a must in the games whether we like it or not

@@CompleteReview Minimum grinding wasn't the issue. A really poor understanding of the mechanics and pokemon types was. Losing mankey and ivysaur to supereffective moves was painful to watch. Grinding in emulator isn't even hard, just press space for the grind part alone, gets done faast.

@@2muchclass998 I would agree when it comes to discovering new pokemon, pokemon types, power, story, etc. Not for basic type mechanics, especially when doing nuzlocke. Issue was he did nuzlocke without any understanding of the pokemon types and mechanics; when nuzlocke is for the more experienced players.

Mistakes that were made: 1- didnt read all nuzlocke rules where talks about duplicate clause that is very useful 2- do not know game's mechanics and dont try to understand either 3- goes to a duel and dont even try to know the foe's pokemons types 4- let his pokemon go below half hp 5- Gave up when he catched Oddish that is one of the best pokemons to grind 😂😂😂 😂😂😂

I didnt lose my starter but i lost 3 fuck pokemons after gym 2. I really though that was gg but i catched an oddish and i named it Hope. Now, i already beated gym 3 and my pokemons are very strong... Bulldog could be playing still but he is a quitter
