Great review! If you put specs aside and just compare overall feeling and ride - would you recommend ADO A20 or Himo Z20 for city ride with few climbs?

The A20 is fantastic. 21mph top speed. Flyes up hills. And holds the ground really well even in heavy rain. The only thing that has to go if you commute more than 15 miles a day is that SADDLE. I put a big universal saddle with a back rest on mine. And it's like floating down the street on your favourite sofa at 21mph. Super comfortable.

@@endi2145 It's great for now, I'm pretty satisfied with purchase. I usually drive it to my workplace and back home, it's 15 km in total. And I charge it after 2 days, or approximately 32km. But haven't drained battery yet. And also it depends on how do you drive it - is there much elevation, do you use pedal assist only or throttle, have you unlocked it etc... I have a lot of elevation and drive it 80% on max level pedal assist and 20% with throttle only- unlocked.

@@Justin775- De gashendel mag niet maar zolang je meetrapt zit je goed. Ik rij al 2 jaar op een vergelijkbaar model en ik heb nooit gezeik gehad met oom agent dus er word volgens mij niet op gehandhaafd.

Get the A20 it's the best sub 750 euro bike on earth for build, features and performance I have fully charged my mobile phone on mine. And it didnt even take half a volt of energy to do it. From 13 volts available. It also has the most powerful front light I've ever seen on an ebike. My daily commute to work and back is 21 miles. I can do it at an average speed of 13mph and still have 2 bars. Or 35--40% battery left when I get home. And it has a top speed of 19 to 21MPH depending on tyre pressure and your weight of course. I get just under 20mph at 92kg weight with tyre pressure standing at 42 PSI. If you weigh less than 80kg. You will get over 21mph on this beauty. And even more range on a full charge.

Bedankt voor de review Martijn! Heb jij onderzocht hoe streng de politie handhaaft op EU regelgeving? Dit model heeft 350Watt en een gashendeltje. Wat is de kans op inbeslagname door bijv. het gashendeltje (al staat de functie uit)?

I have Ado A20+ for a month and I mostly ride it with throttle. I would say from my experience around 30 km till battery runs out. But I mostlly ride it through crowded streets with lots of pedestrians so I break and accelerate frequently which consumes battery more.

Ik wil eentje om nar me werk te gaan, dat is 4km tot het station, pak een train, dan 6km naar me werk, na werk wil ik direct met de fiets terug naar thuis, dat is ongeveer 30km, dus totaal misschien 40km maar ik kan de accu in me bedrijf opladen. @@HelduikerJon Ik heb zelf lang getwijfeld tussen alle verschillende soorten. ADO is zeker een optie om te overwegen. Wat voor mij de doorslag gaf was toch de snelheid die de Fiido D4S optioneel brengt. Mijn vriendin woonde in Zaandijk. Regelmatig vanuit Spaarndam daarheen gefietst. Ik ben er nog steeds erg blij mee. Via Geekmaxi binnen 3 dagen geleverd.

Je gaf aan dat doorslaggevend de snelheid van de Fiido is, maar naar mijn weten zijn deze hetzelfde. Waren er nog andere doorslaggevende redeneren waarom je toch voor de Fiido hebt gekozen? En hoe gaat het nu met de bike? Vele zijn vrij nieuw dus benieuwd hoe ze het doen na een jaartje of wat.

It does on the updated.controller. when you have the updated controller. You have 5 gears in electric. The first 3 give you the following speeds when the A20 is unlocked. PAS 1=09 MPH PAS 2=12 MPH PAS 3=15 MPH PAS 4 (THROTTLE ONLY)=18MPH PAS 5 (THROTTLE ONLY)=21MPH So the first three gears are pedal assist ONLY..And gears 4 and 5 are for the throttle only..And when you hold the throttle on 4 and 5 for 5 to.10 seconds. You enter cruise control mode. Which is sweet..When you are on long stretches of road where you dont have to stop every minute for traffic lights or traffic jams.

This doesn't seem to be cheaper than the competition, at least not anymore. The cheapest I could find it in GBP is £750. The D4S £664. The Himo Z20 £713. The Engui C20 £645. So it seems to be the most expensive. Very hard to find any comparisons of these models, which I believe is what most potential buyers really want.

The A20 beats any bike in this price range for features and performance. I did a round trip of 21 miles yesterday. With an average speed of 13mph and top speed of 21.2MPH. And charged my mobile phone from 0 to 100 at the same time from the A20 battery Using the onboard USB charger. And still had 40% battery left. No other Ebike can do this for less than 700 EURO. For the money the A20 is the best bike on this planet right now. It owns the road and eats hills for breakfast. I have the diesel black one. And one of my work colleagues calls it the batman bike. It has a powerful look about it. It draws attention everywhere I go.

This is a trash bike. Don’t buy! Pedal with faulty construction which unscrew itself with use. Have tried for 8 months to get is replaced or repaired and despite two repairs at ado the problem persists. And they broke the headlight, display and made the horn not work. I am really so sad and tired of this. Biggest mistake I have ever done related to bikes. DO NOT BUY!
