I think they mean that it sounded a little lower than it was intended. It feels/sounds weird but it's not 'awful.' Usually whenever you wear earbuds and somebody screams in a song, you can feel the intensity depending on how loud it is. Hers felt a little confusing since it sounds both quiet and loud/low and high. I may hear things differently though, so don't take this as 100% factual I have to give them props for honesty though, same to you guys.
