Thanks Theresa, helped me with some things I was struggling with. I think I just needed to play more and investigate the options, in particular for colour etc. Great Tute! Terese

Very great tutorial thank you! Question, can you use gradients? Also what’s the benefit of tracing when you could have used The trace in Illustrator?
@TheresaJackson5 жыл бұрын
Currently Draw does not include gradients. I don't know if there is any plans to add them. I use the image trace in Illustrator occasionally but don't like the results most of the time. Adobe Capture on a mobile device does a better job, but you only get two colors. Sometimes I use Capture to get started, then clean it up by drawing in Draw.

Theresa Jackson one more question; I’m trying to use the smooth tool to straighten my lines and so far it’s not going to well. Do you have a tutorial on that or any advice? I’m trying it in illustrator and it doesn’t look like it’s working.
@TheresaJackson5 жыл бұрын
@@Moshe5573 Draw doesn't have a smooth tool. Every stroke you make creates a new shape. In Illustrator the smooth tool works on paths. I'm not exactly sure what your are trying to do, but you should use the smooth tool on a path.

Hi Theresa, thank you for your video; i’m searching to record an iPad draw (with apple pencil); i use a transparency image and i would like to record my draw layer without the transparency image, to create a scribing; any idea ?
@TheresaJackson6 жыл бұрын
business inmotion Any screen recording software is going to record what the screen sees. So if you have the transparency layer visible that will get recorded. For the intro of my videos I hand drew the lines in Photoshop, and then greatly speeded up the recording for playback. This tutorial was recorded on my computer with the app Reflector. Now Adobe Draw automatically creates a time lapse video of your drawings. I imagine you could set the transparency layer very light and then edit it out in post with PremierPro or even Photoshop. If the drawing is all black lines, and the transparency image is really light, that should be pretty easy to do. I haven’t tried this myself though.

Theresa Jackson one more thing. Can I use a regular iPad for the app??
@TheresaJackson7 жыл бұрын
Derp Cat Yes you can use a regular iPad but I'm not sure which iPads support the Apple Pencil pressure sensitivity.
