I have a church newsletter that i created with Adobe CC5/6. I saved as PDF. I need to send the form to a mail list of people and I want to transform the newsletter file to a png. I am thinking this would be easier for the recipients (mail list) to open up, or better yet if they could open it right up to their email. Help (o:

No. If you want to work on it later you would have to save it as an .Ai or .eps.

The company doing my printing requested images in PDF/JPG/AI format. Is there such a thing?

Accessory Wholesale Inc yes. You could export them as pdf and jpg. Ai format is the file your saving while working on it.

can you still work on it as a vector once it has been converted to a .png?

I downloaded a pattern that I want to use on a business card. The file I downloaded was a png. Illustrator wont let me add it to my swatches. Is there a work around? Holla back at me and let me know.
