Adobe Photoshop - Using the Lasso tool to remove objects

We remove a more complex object from a photo using the lasso tool

Hi, I have a question, why do the lasso marks are still showed after I did the cut? And can I eliminate those marks?

Selections in photoshop are really important so it likes to remember them once you’ve drawn them. Once a Lasso is drawn, simply click once outside of your selection to “unselect” the lasso

@@techismad That didn't work for me. The spot is still there after I've deleted the section.
