Haha! Get used to living in one of the coldest countries on the planet during winter. We also had our first snow of the season in the high California mountains. We're expecting 5 feet of snow this weekend. Can't wait to go skiing and snowboarding. Maybe you should take your family on a ski trip this winter. There are lots of places to ski in Europe and they offer lessons. In California, my siblings and I grew up surfing, skiing and snowboarding because we were all pretty athletic and lucky enough to live near beaches and mountains. So, every year we look forward to taking our skis and snowboards up to the mountains. But as much as I love playing in it, I can only take a few days at a time because as people who grew up with snow will tell you, it's miserable most of the time (freezing temps, shoveling, scraping, frost bites, car accidents and spinouts, waiting for heat in the car, etc..). It brings people in a bad mood, especially after Christmas when the festivities are over. Oh, and get ready for blizzards..it will definitely piss you off. One time, we were stuck in the mountains for days because of a blizzard. We couldn't leave and we ended up fighting with each other. We didn't speak a word until we saw the sun on the way down the mountain, then everyone was back to being lovey dovey again. 😂 '
