My only problem with break-core is that, it could sound genuinely interesting at times, and other times sound absolutely horrible. There is no in-between lol Another possible problem, though this is a personal thing, is that if they used more than just a single drum sample (I think it’s called the Amen Break?) it would sound far more interesting and worth listening to. You hear one song you’ve effectively heard them all. You can’t vary it well enough to make it worth listening to without genuine creativity. The second point is why I actually really enjoy some soundtracks like that of the Calamity Mod from Terraria. A few of the songs are full Break Core and they sound really good and have very creative takes to them. The genre itself isn’t bad, it’s just bland I guess lol

Does it cleanly map to rhythms? The notes you must play to get a perfect on the song. Like could you release the "sheet music" where if you played the rhythms displayed on the sheets, then you would guarantee yourself a perfect play of the map? Or would it end up being a quantized mess, where it only makes sense to look at things with a clean subdivision of, say, 144? Let me know. Thanks.
