This is, without a doubt the best documentary on the wolf's layer I have ever seen! After the red army took over the wolf's layer, Stalin ordered it completely destroyed after the end of the war in 1945-1946. I have only seen pictures of the train station, tracks, and what was left of the main meeting room. I had NO IDEA that there was still buildings standing and other structures, even such as Hitler's personal bunker!! Even the original brick laid road still exists to this day!! Absolutely just fabulous!! Very, very well done for people who love WWII history. 😍 Thanks again.
@chemp2316 жыл бұрын
There is no point in fully destroying a road. The only times it is useful to partially destroy it would be in a retreat, an ambush at a pinch point, or a siege. There may be a few more normal ones I can't think of at the moment and of course there are the unconventional plans that would use it. Destroying a whole road though takes time and resources, it might also hinder you or upset the locals. It might not have upset the locals as much in this case, due to the fact it was in occupied land.

Then you all might be interested in the Real Truth of this time in World History that has been hidden for many, many years: The Awful Reality is though Von Stauffenberg and the others had only wanted to kill Hitler in a attempt to a negotiated ceasefire that NEVER would have been accepted anyway. Hitler himself had tried at least twice at the time of Dunkirk to a negotiated peace but for the two Traitors to Not only their individual people and countries but the Entire World itself: FDR and Churchill. These two in the pockets of the Zionist Bankers were instructed to accept Nothing but Unconditional Surrender and Not Only that, but the Extermination of the German People and Nation themselves which is why World Jewry and the World Jewish "Congress" had Declared a "Holy War" in 1933, not on Hitler, not on the Reich but on the German people themselves because of the Perpetual Threat Germany and the German People were to Zionism and the "Jew's" .... because the German's knew of the Zionist's plan and obsession for One World Government which should be plain for ALL people and countries to see in action today -------- the German's were RIGHT. Read All the facts that were known only to a few in the 1940's of the Treason committed by FDR and Churchill and their Administrations in "American Betrayal" by Diana West 2013. Be Warned: the Revelations in this book will change EVERYTHING you thought you knew, Everything you were taught, told and Indoctrinated to believe because of the Power, infiltration and Occupation of American, British and most other countries governments by Zionist "Jew's" that should be another Very Plain Reality today for anyone with a IQ above 90. Our World is a LIE!

I actually visited this complex about 15 years ago or so. I was visiting Berlin to visit some relatives, and while I was there, they did a motorcycle trip through northern Poland that I tagged along on. I begged them to divert to the Wolfschanze so I could see it, always been a history buff. Was interesting for sure, and fun to travel along Poland's northern coast to see all the beaches etc. The Wolfschanze itself was quite memorable/interesting, but the highlight was definitely driving through Poland looking at 1000s of stunningly gorgeous women at the beach, on the street etc. How any German Soldier could still buy into the 'untermench' philosophy even 5 minutes after invading Poland/Russia I have no idea...

Please - what where those two concrete bunker blocks at about 18.35 (only briefly seen). I ask because there is similar, at the current entrance to a camping site near Royan. Cote during Savage. These things were below road level but standing proud with no obvious entrances, this was in 1972. OK, a return visit in 1989 amazed me because the structures had been buried. The whole area was / is still infested with Toft fortifications. There is a similar structure in fields very close (South) to the Merville Battery site in Normandy, again distinctly below the field surface level as opposed to the rest of the bunkers/ammo bunkers which are as you'll know, sort of half and half....

So let me see if i got this right, the V2 bunkers had two rooms inside. While the K5 bunkers had five rooms inside. Wait a minute......oh now i get it. Hey, that Hitler guy was pretty clever.

I believe the picture at 10:10 is of Admiral Karl Doenitz and not Alfred Jodl.

No matter your stance on the man or the countries political Ideology the decisions of the time that shaped our world that were made in those buildings is huge. We need to see these places so today we think and consider the decisions we make today. Do the decisions we make shape the world so greatly when people look back at our time.

Very nice short documentary just 1 visible mistake...when they visit the bunker that was from Jodl the person represented is Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz.....About the palace its exact name is"Lehndorff Palace" I have read that since 2009 it belongs to an German-Polish foundation and reconstruction efforts started in 2010...

The picture of Alfred Jodl is wrong here. That is Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz not Jodl.

daniel sanchez well your wrong! That is a naval uniform and cap. It’s Doenitz. German Army officer caps do not have gold braid on them. That is a naval cap and uniform and is clearly Doenitz. Go look at some photos. I’ll send you links.

The last pic of Mussolini and Hitler was not the last time they met. That pic was from earlier in the war. You can tell by how much younger Hitler looks and what he is wearing.

Why you show a pic of Karl Dönitz while showing about A. Jodl?
