I had a soldier in my Squad in the 1990's, he was a vegetarian, and brought a lot of his own food to the field during FTX. As his Squad Leader, I gave him permission, but I told him if he ever failed to perform due to lack of nutrition, I would Force Feed him raw meat! 🍖 He turned out to be a Good Soldier, although he was just in the Army for the college benefits, he did his Duty!

It's called מחזור - Mahzor or Machzor (which means ״Cycle" as it is repeated yearly) - These are special prayer books for the High Holy Days en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machzor.
