This was SO enjoyable!! We began Shabbat Shira with a rendition of "The Sounds of Shabbos" - which is also sung to the tune of "Sounds of Silence". This was suggested as our tune for Adon Olam...WONDERFUL!!

The Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue does sing a Adon Olam in Hebrew and adds a traditional Ladino Verses as well.

Very nice but would have enjoyed more if sung more sweetly and more feeling like the lyrics of "Sounds of Silence" . Could be much more meaningful during this time....just saying.

Normally I would say this was beautiful to listen to except we are in the middle of a pandemic. Absolutely no social distancing here. Singing creates spits. This is not a good example to others. I suggest removing it for now or redoing as solo performances.

Thanks for pointing this out; I was so taken by their singing that I failed to notice how close they were standing. Other groups of musicians and singers have recorded from their own homes and then mixed the sound. I was going to share, but now will not.
