In alchemy, the symbol for copper and the symbol for Venus, the Roman version of Aphrodite, are the same. And Persephone was the daughter of Ceres, goddess of grain and the harvest, so the golden grains on hers are perfect!

Hi Xanthidine! That's really kind of awesome, especially since Aphrodite had been represented by the Copper in all of these paintings. 😊 Synchronicity! Thank you so much for sharing this information ❤️ I am intrigued by Persephone, she keeps popping up in a lot of these stories, I'm going to research her more 🌾❤️🥰 thanks for watching!

Loving this series, Mina, and your storytelling as well! I have a question - does the silver you’re using actually look like silver after the painting dries? I guess I’m another that’s been spoiled by the total bling of DA’s 24K Gold, and I’m having trouble finding a silver version. Thanks so much for sharing your time and talents! 🥰🎉

Hi Jeanne! I used housepaint in the pour that started this all off, Waiting for Aphrodite. It created these awesome cells that I want again 😁 if you check out Elyse Fournier you can see the cells I mean, her work is phenomenal!

I love them they're so beautiful! I was crowned Aurora the goddess of dawn in the Miss American goddess pageant probably like 15 years ago it's a plus size pageant and it was great I had so much fun and the only sucky part is that the ones who won were like size 14 which is not anyting close to what I consider plus size cuz I'm well now I'm size 22 but then I was about 28-30 something like that so that kind of sucked! Because there was some really beautiful big women who should have won even more than me they were very beautiful and this one girl dressed up like a mermaid and I don't even know what Goddess that is but she looked amazing and she was bigger than me maybe like 32 or even a 40 I'm not sure anyway thought I would share I really liked it and it reminded me of that experience it was a great experience even if I didn't win I was so grounded beautiful goddess so yay for me! Haha!
