We live in Washington state and he is in Pennsylvania (I lived in North Carolina when it all happened) so we don't get to see him in person unfortunately. My mom would always tell me that God saw how much I sacrificed for Tyler so he gifted me with my now 7 year old, Trenton, who looks just like Tyler!!

As a birth mom, so many scenarios have played out in my head. He's 21 now. I've tried twice to reach out and now that I've gone through no response from him on both occasions, I'm finally understanding that maybe he just isn't ready. Maybe he never will be. My heart is still constantly breaking over the foolishness I lived in and the better life I wanted for him and knowing it's never gonna be up to me hurts like crazy but I would do it all again just for him to live that better life with or without me. I got to hold him for a few minutes a day after he was born and I told him I loved him, that I was so sorry for not be able to keep him with me but I was so blessed to be able to choose his parents. Good, loving people who nurtured him into a college athlete. He looks like he's on the right track. I only wish the best for him and if he is satisfied in his soul without me...that will be my final gift to him. Peace. ♡ ____________ I will forever love you J.C. My biological father left before I was born. I only talked to him on phone once back in 2017, and never heard from him again. I admit, that I was extremely bitter towards him for abandoning my mother while she was pregnant with me, and I have since fully forgiven him. Another man came into my life, married my beloved mother, and fully adopted me and he and I have extremely strong bond as father and son. I thank God for him every day along with my mother and brother, who is younger. Adoption is not a burden, it’s a marvelous blessing.

You never know the whole story. I am adopted and its the best thing God could have done for me. If I had stayed with my birth mom, life would not have gone so well. Her circumstances were bad. But at least she did the right thing. I was very blessed to have an angel come into my life. I called her Mom. She was there since the day I was born. I was lucky . You see, I am grateful for the time I had with her. She died about a yr ago. She was 73 when I had to say goodbye. My heart is still broken. But I know that for 56 yrs I was so very blessed for that angel He sent here for me. It takes an extraordinary person to love another woman's child as her own.
