Thanks for sharing your powerful story. It breaks my heart to hear that this beautiful boy is asking when his skin will change. As his parents, I strongly encourage you to create a network of support. By that I mean build relationships with black families in your area so that your children understand and are proud of their heritage. Find people who will walk beside you and help you navigate the delicate dance of raising black children in a country with an appalling history on race relations. Love is not enough. I wish you the very best.

Beautiful story! Sharing God's love.:) I am a teenager but when I get married I want to adopt as well! I loved how you validated your colored kids to know they are fearfully and wonderfully made. When I was younger I struggled with that too and I'm African American. I loved this, I'll be praying for you all💕🙏!

Destiny Bailey "colored kids" God help the self esteem of any black kids you might buy. We stopped using the term "colored" in the US in tge 1960s.

Great video. Great family. It was sad when she said her son asked when is his skin going to look like theirs; however, I'm glad that she followed up with saying that she celebrated his skin. Good mom and dad!

I am glad but am worried if those children were STOLEN from their home I. UGANDA. I read that their govt makes you live there for a year before removing the child. If you did not reside there, chances are the kids were STOLEN.

very true statement. every adoption from Uganda that used legal guardianship to adopt need to have a new private investigation done on the childs family

please encourage more Ugandans to adopt & for Ugandan adoption laws to be enforced

Please have a private investigation done to track any potential biological family the children might have. So much falsification of documentation in Uganda even by "Christian" homes & lawyers.
