Adorable and Charming Town #2: Beilstein on the Mosel River

It's not for nothing that millions of travelers cruise on the Rhine and Mosel Rivers (Mosel is spelled both "Mosel" and Moselle" - either is correct), drive from town-to-town by automobile, bike, hike and use other public transportation.
Beilstein is another one of those drop-dead adorable medieval towns that has Metternich Castle dating from 1268 perched above. It's only a one-hour boat ride from Cochem which passes the steepest vineyards in the world. If I missed anything, don't you!

Another very interesting town. Your're right, its appears to be a great place to visit. How did you find the food/wine prices? Nicely shot...

Allan Moore I sort of referred to food prices in a prior comment before I read this one but prices were great! Of course, we ate in small cafes, tourist restaurants, etc., but an average entree with salad was 11-15 Euro per person and that includes tax and service. Same goes for the wine. A glass was usually 3-5 Euro, again including tax and service. Thanks for taking time to watch and comment on the videos and best regards, Sheila
