it's hard because aint happen unless you poke a baby bear in front of mother or cross the bear path unannounced . We had a few bear attack in the last 20 years but all was provoked by people and all people survived some injured yes but survived and thats clear signal that bear wasn't in killing mode.

Plenty of those people weren't provoking bears in any way, bears are predatory and territorial, they are wild animals and one of very few animals to actively hunt humans in some cases. MANY of those 58 fatal attacks are people who were literally dragged out of their tents in their sleep at night, killed and eaten. Some victims were even infants, others elderly.

Baby Leroy is among one of the cutest cubs I have ever seen! However he does slurp his porridge rather fast so maybe they'll have to work on that, I don't want Leroy getting hurt. That porridge (maize meal/mielie meal) is actually a staple in our diet in Southern Africa. I can't speak for the other parts of Africa as i'm not sure. Not only is it delicious but it's highly nutritious especially when fortified with vitamins and minerals.
