I was fortunate to have a mother and two young badgers move into my Colorado backyard for a few days. The littles would come out during the day, under mom's watchful eye, and play like kittens.

The British government is complicit in hundreds of thousands of these beautiful creatures being shot, up and down the country, in an effort to curtail TB in cattle. Poor biosecurity on farms and multiple movements of cattle around may well be the cause of the spread of this disease, and so these are being wiped out for no reason. Terrible policy, someone has made a giant mistake.
