Things to Consider Before Buying a Bassinet
If you’re considering buying a bassinet for your baby, you should think about certain features. Things like size, strength, and other provisions should be taken into account. Also, one should think if the bed’s mattress fully covers the sides, as a baby might tend to put his/her hands or feet over it, which could act as a suffocation hazard. Furthermore, the mattress and the entire bed should be easy to clean and maintain.

You might want to add the mattress bars if you have not. We just assembled ours. Without the bars, the bed would do exactly as demonstrated. With the bars, it is not possible to push down on the bed.

I have the same bassinet/bedside sleeper. You assembled that INCORRECTLY, hence why your having that issue. Once assembled properly, you will fall in love with it 😊

It sanks in because you have the side barrier down when it should be up.

Definitely not properly assembled lol mine dont do that but i read instructions and make sure i have all the parts

Definitely NOT assembled correctly. This bassinet is decent. The spinning toy thing is cheap and doesn't last long but it is very sturdy.
