I personally don’t do much 1/10 at the moment but I do plan on revisiting and adding new topics that are more specific to 1/10 racing in the future!

For a flat standard piston, is there any reason to use a different piston over just changing shock fluid viscosity?

The reason to change from a flat to a taper piston especially in rough conditions makes it to where the shock still has the same pack on landing and under compression while allowing it to quickly rebound to soak up the next bump. Just changing shock fluid will make it a fast or softer shock but it wont be able to absorb as much of a hit.
