He helped shape my childhood. Him and Lucy Lawless and Kevin Sorbo. I grew up in a family of people who weren't good people. The morals these characters had and how they delt with heartache showed me how to not turn into a bitter person, to not seek revenge and no matter what happens to you, no matter how people treat you you still can have morals and be a good person. He taught me through the show how to deal with grief and shitty life circumstances.

I really appreciate how Adrian Paul takes time to answer questions. He puts thought behind them and you can see his honesty when interacting with an interviewer or fans. Would love to meet the guy one day!

I've met Adrian twice, and he was so kind and genuine. He gives back through his teaching and his PEACE Children's charity. I've probably seen every episode of The Series 5 times. Despite the low budget aspects, they did a wonderful job. The mix of intense fighting episodes with lighter plots (the Sandra Bernhardt Romance Writer episode is comedy gold!!) made it appeal to so many people. The chemistry Adrian had with Peter Wingfield, Jim Byrnes, and Elizabeth Gracen made them all feel like old friends. While I enjoyed The Raven, I would have loved some version of an "Adventures of Joe & Methos" series...what wealth of stories would a 5,000 year-old man have? I was amazed to learn Peter is now a doctor. :)

I don't care what he looks like, or how much older he looks, we all still want a highlander continuation. Same for all the cast, Joe, Amanda, Mythos, and most of all, Fitz even if it's a memory episode we want Fitz!!! Loved every episode Fitz was in.

My favorite actor, my favorite show and in all honesty, my favorite interview I have ever seen of a famous person I admire. Such thoughtful questions, and wonderful responses from Adrian. I am fortunate enough to have Adrian as a follower on Twitter, and I have expressed to him how he inspired me to go into martial arts. I am so happy many others were inspired by him in the same way.

Adrian did a great job and despite my not liking the idea in the first episode and idea of having a new (copy) Highlander, IT WORKED! and worked well, after season1 I was hooked on the show and it's one of my favorites of all time

I would love to see a series where the immortals have to try to keep themselves secret in this modern age. How would they get around identification and information technologies etc? It would have been difficult enough to do so back in the years that the series was based in.

The Highlander series gave us a complete insight of what it means to be immortal especially in the character of Duncan Macleod. The series manages to connect the story of the original movie to the series because the names Connor, Ramirez and the Kurgan was mentioned in some of the episodes of the series.

Highlander was so central to my childhood. I went to probably a dozen cons as a kid and though all the cast was amazing Adrien was so incredibly nice and thoughtful. He always recognized us, took time to talk to us and engage with us. Honestly the entire cast including guest stars like Rodger Daultry were amazing, but Adrien, Peter, and Stan stand out so much. In 2017 shortly before my mom died she went to a con in LA and Adrien remembered her well, asked about my brother and I, and did her the honor of signing a piece of merch that he swore he would never ever sign (The Ugly Mug, IYKYK). Peter also spoke to her for close to an hour because he became a medical doctor after acting and she had a rare disorder. She came away from that saying how more doctors like him would change medicine in this country.

It's more than the face lifts, fights and so forth. The series - at least to me - was a struggle to achieve something great ; call it consciousness, sense of purpose in improving man's lot in life. All the other stuff is a grand cosmetic theatre affixed to that journey.

It's my belief that Adrian Paul refused to do things for roles (ala sex for roles) because the guy is an AMAZING actor, like a better looking Sean Connery, could sword fight. Do action, romance, anything. That he never became a massive A-class movie star is baffling. He must have just had too much character to do the nasty things for those top roles.

Honestly I don't think the Highlander as a story would work in our period of time. Not just the internet being a major plot hole but everyone having a cell phone which can take video. Plus with the aspect of AI that is increasingly becoming part of our world. This story was a good idea when it came out but as technology improved it really becomes impossible.
