Something beautiful about each note you play. This note --B on the first string ---, at the beginning of the piece and everywhere throughout, gives me an immediate mental picture of being in the family room in our home in Lincoln, Nebraska, about 1960, listening to a guitar recording. I don't remember the guitarist, probably Segovia, or the piece, just that note, but I see and even feel the room in that note.

Nestes dias de grandes agitações políticas, o stress me chegou a níveis altos. Portanto decidi dar um tempo para cuidar de mim, fazendo com que algumas coisas tão injustas, caíssem no “esquecimento”. Qual o melhor caminho? A música, certamente! Assim procurei no som do piano ou do violão, uma canção que seria símbolo deste basta temporário. Assim, cheguei ao mestre Piazzolla, que numa beleza de composição, já trazia o nome que eu procurava: OBLIVION, ou ESQUECIMENTO em sua bonita língua hispânica. Mais ainda, para interpreta-la, busquei esta virtuosa violonista ucraniana, que certamente deseja que o que se passa no seu país, caia, para não sofrer, no seu esquecimento…

Beyond the muscle memory of practiced technique lies the artist's emotional vulnerability to be moved and through that, to give the notes life and evoke that indescribable quality of humanity as only great art is able to do. And as your performance so exquisitely embodies. I cannot help but wonder if you have ever performed a rendition of a favorite piece of mine: Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of Alhambra) by Francisco Tarrega. Another haunting and evocative piece, with a tremolo I can only imagine you would absolute kill at. I only just discovered your channel and m looking forward to further exploration. Speed, many tones, volume is such not important things, if the honest spirit is not behind.. or if an artist is not ready to show himself as he is... and also there are music in the world that make you defenseless... and this is the best thing that music can do!!!))) Yes, I love Alhambra, I am playing this for me, very sometimes at the concerts. Because you can hear it very often and the People already have an exact idea how it should sound. I have a different interpretation (as in Asturias as well) and I don't really want to have discussions and explain why I feel a composer in a different way than is customary.
