Usage rights - please read: I’m posting the usage rights and important information about my music right here in a comment on every new video so that they’re easily accessible to everyone. =) USAGE: If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. Only given credits are necessary, that's the only condition. Credits would be totally fine as a small text in the movie, website etc. written "Music by Adrian von Ziegler". In live shows and other projects where including a text would be difficult, an oral mention would suffice as well. =) On KZbin and twitch you can also use my music for free even if you monetize your videos by the way! ANY school projects have automatic free permission to use my music, no license payment is required. If the project is commercial, meaning it makes money in any way (except KZbin and twitch, see above), you would have to buy a license for the music you want to use. The license payment would be small in almost all cases except for big budget productions. It would be a one-time payment, so you can use the music you bought forever in that project. It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed. Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects. Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no mater what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music. Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion). So if your project is non-commercial or a KZbin project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal. REQUESTED MUSIC: I generally do not accept offers to make songs on request or to write music for movies, games etc. One reason is that I can't handle it time-wise but even if I had the necessary time I would still stay away from it because I - quite honestly - don't really like to do it.^^ I basically make music to express whatever topic moves me, randomly. I tried it a few times but I have the best creativity and feel the most freedom and happiness when I do that completely alone and without being “employed” by someone. I hope that’s understandable.^^ Important: I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message or is pornographic. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things. Same goes for explicit pornography. Media with nude art is allowed, if not pornographic in nature and purpose. I hope you're having an awesome day, and thanks a lot for being interested in my music! =)

Why can not we live in any magical, fantasy-like world? A world full of magical creatures, mages, bards, warriors, fantasy kingdoms and huge enchanted forests,... everytime I listen to a music like this, I feel empty that our world is far far away from the one I would love to be a part of. A place where we can go to an adventure, fight evil, visit taverns with friends, drink ale and play board games. I know that Celts were real but their music reminds me of a beautiful magical forests and so on. I like going for a long walks into the forest (mainly in autumn and winter) which is next to my house accompanied by my 2 dogs and listen to music like this. Especially when I want to escape from a real world full of problems, stress, responsibilities and study. With my headphones on I always imagine that I am walking in a fantasy forest and there are 2 "magical wolves" with me. :) Thanks for this music Mr. Ziegler and wish all of you guys the best :) sorry, english is not my mother language

And never having warm water, eating the same thing year-round, feeling cold every night, having to work your ass off for every last morsel of food or firewood... There's a reason we live the way we live right now, because the alternative is so hard that it leaves no time for pleasure or relaxation or creativity.
@Templarboi6 жыл бұрын
@@arabiannights5301 People have always had warm water, and they didn't eat the same thing all year round. They had a nice, healthy diet that didn't cause nearly as much problem as the sugary and unhealthy garbage we have today. People had fires and houses so it would not be cold every night. "Working your ass off" is subjective as chopping wood when you are in good physical shape would not be considered working, but merely another part of daily life. The last part of your comment reveals the problem plaguing the modern man; all you want is pleasure and relaxation, when even something as simple as chopping wood is considered "hard work" by you. Modern men have become weak and soft. Life back then made sense and existed in harmony with nature and even then people still had time to be creative and make art/music.

Don't rush to judge people for something so simple as their musical preferences, after all you should care about is how you feel, not how others do. Have a nice day :)

It is going to sound strange but this music touches something inside me. A similar feeling happened when I was in Scotland with my children in 2006. the area we visited was where my ancestors came from. I just had that feeling that I belonged there. Maybe it is in my DNA and/or my heart and soul that said home to me. This music touches that same area. So does bagpipe music. Adrian, keep it up, this is great music.
@ThallanarRabidtooth9 жыл бұрын
Eric brett I learned of a phenomenon called "Genetic Memory" where you can feel certain things, urges, emotions, etc. based on how your ancestors lived. My ancestors primarily come from Ireland, Germany, and Scotland, where all 3 of those cultures, drinking alcohol is a very big thing, and so as a result, I'm always feeling the urge to be drinking alcohol. I also find the German language to be more beautiful than English.

While he was there he and his friends went to Inn-N-out burger and had a 4X4. He texted a pic of it to me knowing how much I love it. He also sent it to my other 2 children. They're 5 and 14, and I know with this and any other trigger that sets off my anxiety, I am grateful to know that I can turn on Adrian's music sets and listen and be able to be transported to the woods of a Celtic land full of magic and myth, and lay upon a lush green patch of grass near a bubbling spring, close my eyes, and be carried away. Despite War and Health Issues, the Middle Ages would be a great time to live. Think about it: so much of the world would have been untouched. No disgusting polluted cities, no cars or electronics, no bills, no schooling, no drugs, no politics, nothing but bliss happy living. Yes, it does have a few major downs, but nothing would be stopping you from running away to the middle of nowhere with family and friends and living off pure land (which you did anyway.) That is what God intended us to do, live off the land he gave us. Not ruining it.
@seanschelin24310 жыл бұрын
Living off pure land is easier said than done mind you.
@hrothgarnogar10 жыл бұрын
Except for the fact that a lot of cities actually were pretty dumpy and messy, at least in the slums. And politics were definitely a HUGE issue. You could have a king one day who is fine, and the next day have a tyrannical king. And there were taxes and bills just the same as now, and sometimes even more unfair than now (which is saying a lot). Yes, the culture would be quite interesting and you'd feel a little more self-sufficient, but there were a lot of problems back then too. And this is coming from someone who has always wished to visit that time period as well, just make sure you know a bit more before really wanting that haha.

@umplafa10 жыл бұрын
Cities may not of been polluted, but they were DISGUSTING. Far, far worse than cities today. Rome, London and Paris especially. There were no sewers, and if there were (Byzantium had some, which is why Constantinople is not on that list.) they were tiny and reserved to rich parts of the city. There was excrement, human and animal in the streets and during times of plague or siege, it's not unheard of for entire cities to be wiped out or abandoned. Then there's the country, where this is little to no central authority besides taxes. Mob justice is the only justice that prevails, and bandit troops the size of small armies patrol the highlands. (Depends on the land, Russia, Hungary, and Bulgaria were particularly bad) On top of that, there are raiding armies and depending on your time period (early, huns and Vikings) late (mongols and timurids.) That wipe out entire cities. When the mongols conquered china, there was a mountain of rotting corpses visible from miles around.
@G33k5Rul310 жыл бұрын
I don't know, the middle ages would be a simpler time to live in, but are you talking about being born in that time and knowing nothing of the future or going back to a time like that? The latter would no doubt lead to great boredom and then for people like myself a great deal of fun pranking people with simple technology that we can make, at least till we got caught and pressed or burnt for witchcraft (they only burnt females they pressed males under rocks, nice of them huh). Also no one gave us the land, we took it, we are supposed to share it with others not try and own it.

Salim Ali First of all I have to apologize because this is a kind-of automated response message I had to create because I get so many messages every day that replying to everyone would be simply impossible.^^ So this message here concerns the usage rights for my music and whether or not I'm available to make songs on request. USAGE: If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. I hope that’s understandable.^^ Important: I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things.

Sorry mind if I ask you Do you recognise any psychological or physical issues in you? Because insomnia is more like a byproduct of a hidden deeper issue Or maybe you simply cannot afford the society s rythms e g sleeping at night Me myself I m sleeping from 5 am to 1pm for years that s my natural rythms

I have never studied so easily. Thanks to this, my mind focuses all by itself. And at night, when I fall asleep listening to this, I see myself and everyone else here riding in enchanted forests, some praying to the Ancient Gods, others fighting Shadow Creatures... Thank you for all of this ^^

The first song, Prophecy, always gives me a deep and intense feeling of nostalgia. It has for years, every time without fail. The beginning tune just strikes something inside of me and I don’t know what it is. It’s a gorgeous song, and the only song on this playlist that makes me feel that way. I do have lots of Celtic blood in me, so maybe it’s my intuition picking up on something I, or my ancestors heard many lifetimes ago. ☺️

I was twelve when this came out and I never did forget the name "Adrian von Ziegler. I listened to this while writing my first D&D campaign, the first time I was enthusiastic about writing. It's been a few years, nearly a full decade. And I just got into my third D&D group, and I remembered precisely the mix that started me off. I think you were my first inspiration to even get into music. Outside of that, this is an incredible compilation of music. And giving a re-listen all these years later? It's phenomenal still. I was just casually going through my character sheet and then "Ride" came on and I got goosebumps for the first time in a couple of years. Hell, I still have chills right now twenty minutes later. Fantastic stuff my man. Fantastic.
