Adriatique - art.set: Fondation Beyeler - ARTE Concert

Elektronische Musik trifft auf bildende Kunst. Für die Ewigkeit bestimmte Kunstwerke begegnen flüchtigen elektronischen Klängen. Zusammen verschmelzen sie in der weltbekannten @FondationBeyeler in Basel zu einer synästhetischen Erfahrung, die Kunst- wie Musikliebhaber vereinnahmen und die Grenzen von Musikvideo und Konzertfilm verwischen wird.
In der zweiten Folge vertonen @adriatique, ein Produzenten-Duo aus Zürich, die aufwendig illuminierten Skulpturen „Der Denker“ von Auguste Rodin und "Ptolemäus III“ von Hans Arp.

Quand l’électro rencontre l'art, ce sont des notes fugaces et synthétiques qui s’envolent à la rencontre d’œuvres vouées à l’éternité. Théâtre de cette union, la Fondation Beyeler de Bâle. Au programme, une expérience synesthésique où les frontières entre clip et ciné-concert sont abolies pour le plus grand bonheur des mélomanes et des amateurs d’art.
Dans ce second volet, le duo de producteurs zurichois Adriatique sonorise Le Penseur d’Auguste Rodin et Ptolémée III de Jean Arp, deux sculptures richement illuminées pour l’occasion.

Hans Arp schätze ich sehr und auch einige Stücke von Adriatque gefallen mir, nur die Kombination konnte ich mir nicht gut vorstellen und schon beim Reinhören denke ich: Ptolemäus III ist auf das Wesentliche reduziert, minimal. Und diese Musik wirkt davor einfach nur überfrachtet. Andere Auftritte in den Räumen den Fondation haben mir dagegen äußerst gut gefallen, besonders der vom Atzen Paule.
