I just love how they did it, the two slightly different shades of bronze on the belly/wings/fins and the body, plus the greenish metallic stripes on the tail and body, are simply beautiful. I cannot wait to see how they do the Adult Copper Dragon, too!

My dragonborn was a copper dragon and I made him rusty green like an oxidized penny. I'd love a look like that but I feel like a dragon would want to be too pretty for that. lol

The adult dragon minis look amazing, but I'm still holding out for the unpainted Nolzur's versions, which look like the same sculpts as the pre-painted versions.

Same, my group is at the end of the campaign (unless our DM pulls a fast one on us which wouldn't suprise me) and I'm next in line to DM so I need some new toys to MURDE- I mean, challenge my future players on their quest of glory and honour. Not to mention, I love Black Dragons, they're my favorite, a magical item here, some spellcasting there and I have my new BBEG ready.

Be aware that the Bronze adult ones are hit or miss. They have NO window display. And I got two. One is lacking the teal stripes but got a great posture. The other is opposite. Quality assurance my a$$ Though it IS my favorite metallic! Miss the window but no big deal. The evil Yellow, neutral Sapphire and good Bronze dragons sure gotta learn to live by each other in a coastal biome Kinda daydream they hide somewhere by the coast I live, on a far away island, in an underwater coastal cave or even on a coastal mountain. When we get Copper and Brass dragons I wonder..

Still quite upset that they never made more of these in the unpainted forms. I bought the unpainted white right away and would have done so for all the other as well! I don’t think they have any plans for releasing any more unpainted figures either.

Yah I agree. I wish they had cheaper alternatives like the Unpainted line for these minis. But that said they are really good looking in person and generally feel worth what you pay, apart from the Gem Dragons (who both have felt like duds for their price). The Dragons and Demon Lords so far have been fantastic and feel worth every penny. They are expensive though. I would like them to stay at the $70ish price range, these $90-100 are really draining the wallet. :(

@@Duncan275 I'm okay with that as long as there is something that at least represents its actual size on the table I have no qualms especially considering the Nolzur Young Dragons are on Huge Bases with nothing to indicate they're actually Large.

Richard Gonzalez i just use them as huge. Their base physically covers a huge area. They themselves are close enough to huge. Im just saying , when a miniatures ONLY purpose is to be a physical representation on a battle grid. It’s obnoxious to act like its smaller than it really is. I dont understand why they dont just call the “young” dragons adult, and when they are actually huge(adult) and not large(young) Same thing with saying tiamat is “gargantuan”. Come on…. Lol, she barely fits within colossal measurements, just call her colossal and call it a day.

Well, they are, I especially like the tidbit 2E had where Bronze Dragons like to test adventurers by polymorphing to cuddly animals or frail old men and engaging with them to see what they are like.

Am I the only one who feels like the eyes on this mini are painted too far ahead on the snout? The cavities behind them feel more suitable for the placement of the eyes and I can't un-see it. Looks great otherwise!

yes at 1:47 the eye appears to be painted in the wrong spot. at least that's what it looks like to me as well.

Comparing the mini to the official art and by looking closer at the mini I'd no, the eye is right where it's supposed to be, the cavities seem to be accidental.

Don't get me wrong, I think those dragons are as big as I picture them in my mind but it doesn't really help the customers to pay that much for a mini, nevermind the ancient dragons, gods spare me.

That's because Arveiaturace was sort of the carrot on a stick, sold at a much lower price than later ones. And Covid and chinese shipping issues did not help with the prices either. Everything got more expensive...
