For sure interested in the Kalour 120 watercolor pencils video! I’ve been obsessed with inktense pencils lately and I’ve been looking at other watercolor type pencils to supplement my color choices and add to my collection. I’d love to see you use them in a book!

I love my Kalour water colour pencils. It will be interesting to find out your opinion on a comparison with the Albrecht Durer. Nice haul.

A few years ago you could get the 120 set of Lyra pencils for $39.99 USD. Then they went up to about $70 and are often found for more than that now. I thought they were a good pencil for $39-$50 but I’m not replacing them at the prices they are currently. Like all pencils, they performed better on certain papers, but I thought they were a fine budget pencil on most papers. Do you have a favorite budget pencil that you would recommend currently? I have been looking at the Faber Castell black 100 but haven’t jumped and done yet.

The Faber Castell Black are definitely my fave budget pencils. I like them just as much as my Prismas :)

How do you make the pictures you color look glossy like a picture in a magazine?

Hi! I burnish all my pics as I colour :) I make sure there’s no white tooth of the paper coming through. Because I use wax based pencils, they also give a beautiful shine on their own.

I just use my phone. This is just a hobby for me so I don't want to invest in amazing filming setups just yet :D

I use a variety of pencils. My main ones I use lately though are Prismas, Derwent Chromaflow and FC Black Edition.
