Nathaniel Drake I know, I know. I like to think of myself as central, so it gets on my tits sometimes, too. But goddamn, Trump needs to be ripped to shreds sometimes, some of the shit he does is just ridiculous. But then I think any leader needs to have their fuckups pointed out, whether you're on their side or not. Every president/prime minister/king/prophet(?) has to make terrible choices and will never get them all right. The people that want power don't seem to possess a great deal of common sense. Anyway, like I said, I sometimes like him.

The secret seems to be Craig doesnt look at the camera or audience for a reaction. He has a genuine conversation and then uses the camera for comedic effect. There really is no one like him! Love how at ease he makes everyone!
@thomasluby1754

STFU. That is not the "secret" at all, Einstein. Ferguson has something called TALENT and years of experience to get where he was at that point. If all it took was not to look at the camera or audience and then look at the camera "for comedic' effect", anyone could have done it. He also looks at the audience as often as he pleases. Go back to bed.

He focuses on the guest, and shapes his interaction around their personalities. He has a quick wit, and great charisma. Talent may be one word, I think he just has a natural knack for it. It's like Conan with Bill Burr or Norm MacDonald, unlike other hosts, they interact within the conversation instead of trying to get responses for the audience.

@@thomasvo5939 Mmh. Tricky this one Thomas. It’s a play on words. The host is deliberately misinterpreting the phrase “how do I blow?“, for comic affect. The lady, when she asks, refers to the mouth organ, the host refers to an intimate adult activity., which he suggests might be a good substitute present, because she did not buy a physical gift for Valentine’s Day. I hope this helps 😀

@@Leny1777no, he's not hard on the eyes, but he has this good-natured, naughty sense of humor, & he's able to simultaneously communicate that he's not threatening even when he's being naughty. That's very disarming. The conversation comes off like a comraderie instead of him looking like a creepy perv because the female guest is already put at genuine ease. And that sense of humor makes him sexy af, too.

In my honest opinion, Craig Ferguson was/is the best late night tv show host. If you watch each of his interviews in it’s entirety, he allows the guests to be themselves. I mean yes to some, his flirting with the female guests could be seen as going too far, but the thing is he actually admits it himself, and he also dials it back for every interview. That’s not even to mention moments when he delves into deep conversations and thoughts about pretty much everything. He knows his history too and the way he constructs his interviews is pretty incredible. I really miss the guy.
