Rasam Recipe:
Ingredients:
Onion 2
Tomato 2
Garlic cloves 10
Ginger
Green chilli
Coriander leaves
Cumin seeds
Mustard seeds
Asafoetida
Turmeric
Rasam powder
Direction:
Dice the onion and tomatoes into big pieces and boil them in the water along with some garlic, ginger, cumin seeds and salt.
Blend it all well once it cools down.
Add Ghee, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, crushed garlic and green chilli for the tempering.
Add the smoothly blended mixture with some rasam powder, turmeric powder and water, let it all simmer well.
Finally add some coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice.
